I have experienced the same issue as you. It seems that Stardock can't get their issued in v4 fixed with HDR, they just keep making excuses and not providing solutions. I suspect that as soon as v5 comes out we'll be abandoned and stuck with broken v4. Funny thing is I have v2 on my other machine and it works perfectly fine. No issues with HDR, folder view doesn't bleed through to full screen apps, and text in menus is legible. I wish I could use my v4 key with v2 of the appli

No I was never on dev branch of Win 11. Production release.
I have the same issue, and many more on top of that. Do you have HDR enabled on your desktop? [Comment removed by admin: Sean Drohan]
Still having issues with fences and folders popping through to full screen application such as games. First that makes no sense, why would only once fence appear and not all if I accidentally toggle it. Only my bottom fence appears at random when launching a full screen app. This fence is a folder portal fence. The others don't come peering through like that. Second I don't have that option in my Fences. I think there is a rendering probl
That seems to have helped for now. What about this issue, fences rendering over an active window?
Open the image and zoom in on the picture you will see the gap between the 3 bottom fences. And that's just one of the issues I am experiencing. There are a handful more that I haven't reported yet.
This happened today after a remote desktop session. The 3D and 3D Prints fences were either moved or resized.
No, you should have mentioned that you wanted a screen shot of the the issue. I have since reset the positions of the fences to where they are supposed to be, when this happens again I will post screen shot. Generally it happens when I install a new game and reboot. Another issue I see sometimes is if I launch a fullscreen application the fences draw on top of the application, this is usually a video game, etc. I am using HDR in desktop mode as well.<
I don't know if it matters but I am using an Ultrawide monitor.
I recently purchased fences 4 and I am having some issues, I have fences 2 on my other Win 11 PC and it is flawless. Version 4 however keeps randomly moving fences. One of the issues that I constantly encounter is where I lock my fences and after a reboot they randomly create a space between two fences where they are supposed to be stacked right against each other. This problem is intermittent. Another issue I recently encountered was where all the fences resized t

Thanks for that.
[quote who="basj" reply="1" id="3876189"] Hello, Sorry to hear you are having issues. Does the coupon mention expiry date? If it does and the date is over due it might because of that. Thanks Basj, Stardock Community Assistant. Hi I recently received a coupon/discount code in my email to purchase Fences 4. When I go through the checkout process and try and apply said code, nothing happens, the discount is not applied to the software. Tried on several Windows machines, and a Linux laptop, just doesn't work. How to I remedy this? Thanks
[quote who="Jowex" reply="6" id="3614344"] Hi guys, I found out the solution to manage several résolutions. In Fences configuration menu, you can change stteings for layout and snapshot management. Default setting is "Preserve my desktop layout by scaling my Fences". If you switch to the yellow highlighted option as below, it works much better. <img style="width: 542px; he
Thanks, just did that
Can we get someone from Stardock to comment or provide us with some feedback?
I'm using the latest version of Fences 2.13 and right now my resolution is 5760x1200 however I sometimes switch my output to my home theatre so I can game on a 1920x1080 resolution screen. When I switch to the TV and then back to my monitors fences do not retain their original shape and they are resized. Is there any way to have a custom fences shape/area for different resolutions? Is there any way to set this statically?
Thanks. There should be an option in the My Account tab. This would allow customers to manage their own installations and save on the ticket count.
Hi up until last week I was using Windows 8, however due to the utter failure of this OS I uninstalled it and installed Windows 7 on the same HDD. Unbeknownst to me I was not aware of the new activation system and did not deactivate the Fences installation on the Win 8 machine. Now I can not activate Fences on my Win 7 installation can you please help? Thanks
