It appears that you've missed a letter when registering the software and it registered to another email address. I've now corrected it to be on your account and you should be able to activate it. Let me know if you have anymore trouble.
As long as you're set to auto-update, it should update correctly to the latest update without you having to do anything.
To deactivate the license, you need only uninstall it. If you've formatted before uninstalling, it's possible you're reached the maximum activations. To fix that, please contact us here: https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/Tickets/Submit

Doctor Who references, of course, it all makes sense now! I "named a star" any Whovian would recognize immediately. It starts with a G. Did you feel it was easy to play with neighbors so close by, or was it a bit nerve wracking?
That is an authorization hold, it should clear within a few days.
I thought DARCA's advice was spot on. This is probably 1 of 2 ways to decrease the time it will take to load/play GC3, the next being to install it on a SSD. Since it's a laptop, your limited to the onboard graphics, so RAM and SSD are the way to go. Oh, also keep it plugged in so you're 1-Not running on battery and 2-Not running on some low-performance mode due to running on battery. Any logistics due to it being a work laptop is up to the users discretion. [e digic
