Hey Sput, Sounds like you know alot more about skinning than me. I have yet to discover the other issues you mentioned. But Duplicating those 2 states does seem to be the easy answer. Thanx. And that would also answer Chas' question... So, my question would be, why would it matter? Of course I like DarkMist's answer <img src="http://images.s

Not sure how I've missed this and I don't know if it's been discussed before so I apologize in advance for any redundancy The MoreProgramsArrow in SkinStudio, well.. in the preview the "Pressed" and "MouseOver" states are reversed. At least thats how it works on my machine.
I believe if you set the LEFT CONTENT MARGIN of the StartPanelUserPane to -48 (negative48), that will push the Icon off screen leaving only the User Name visible
hmmm... not sure Chas. I'll fool around to see if your right. I think I understand what your saying, although its kinda the same thing except for the last frame in the count and i've got it working. But thanx.
Yea, that's the ticket. It works. Now I got it. thanks Bones
Bones, thankyou . I'll give it a whirl. Thanks again.
Hi folks, I am trying to fool around with a few animation for a new WindowBlind. I am having a bit of trouble. I have created a simple StartPanelUserPane with a small area of it containing an Animation. Its only 5 frames total. It plays ok, but at the end of each loop, the entire UserPane blinks black. In SS I have it set like this: Frame Count 5 Animation Rate 200 First frame on mouse enter 1 First frame on mouse over 1 Last frame on mous
February 14 is Valentine's Day. Although it is celebrated as a lovers' holiday today, with the giving of candy, flowers, or other gifts between couples in love, it originated in 5th Century Rome as a tribute to St. Valentine, a Catholic bishop. For eight hundred years prior to the establishment of Valentine's Day, the Romans had practiced a pagan celebration in mid-Fe

Well thats understandable Caddy, I myself have this card and it's turning out to be quite useful. I was pretty hungry this morning but didn't feel much like cooking. I drew myself a nice breakfast ... eggs, bacon, fries, coffee and clicked Render. It was delicious.
The message boards were down for maintenance briefly. At least thats the Message that I received. Actually, I bet the admins were all getting massages on the "Secret Board". >
sigh... If any of you had bothered to do a little research. The $17,000 version of that card has far more advanced features than the much lower priced ones. Such as "True 3D" rendering. It creates solid objects from pixels. Don't gape , it's true. Provided you have a monitor that supports transmutation and a RealTek Interdimensional-Ethernet adapter. Both of those peripherals are also reasonably priced by the way. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/bigsmile.gif" bord
No errors here, try a refresh on the massage board I knew IT existed. Like t

First thanks to everyone for the input. Straightforward, common sense observations and opinions. Thanxand I agree. The "housekeeping" I can handle and have been. I AM, after all, the only computer literate person in our household. But I cant be everywhere at once and it is precisely because we have talked, and still talk, that I am prepared to "clamp" down so to speak. Her PC is as safe as I can make it. We'r
Hi everyone, Today, my oldest daughter turned 13. Because of her maturity, grades and talents she has been given quite a few "perks". But for some time now , her PC has been a bit of a stumbling block. Too much time spent on it, particularly time spent "online". Chat wars/games with friends, peers, neighbors, relatives, humanity at large. She is also a poor housekeeper PC wise. She refuses to click the little "Update Now" globe in her Tray because that would "eat" into her chat time. I
Heres a nice one I've been using on my OD. Hope thats what you were looking for neo. Just a simple Win flag in a .png. it's 192 x192 so it sizes up nice in the Dock. https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=29&SkinID=198
Something horrible has happened. Last thing I remember, I was starting up SS to work on a skin, then I musta blacked out. All I know is I woke up in the back yard next to my Black Lab. I had a bloody scalpel in my right hand and a sewing needle in my left. More puzzling... my dog's face had been sculpted to resemble a young Ron Howard. Poor, poor Opie. I was weak and must of succumbed to the overpowering, su

Hey Z, you forgot a couple of steps... 1.) Hack the MS shell dll. 2.) Sell it. 3. Add the same features as your competition. 4. Decide theirs is better anyway, so add their content or the ability to steal it, as a feature to your hack. 5. Sue them for not letting you steal their content. "mo money, mo money, mo money"
yes you guys got it, sorry I didnt reply sooner. I got "called in" on Snow Duty. Your method seems to work but it's actually different, I think, than the answer I had. It is still 8 bags. But the first even bags total $127 (1,2,4,8,16,32,64) the last bag is a $50 sac. If the original total had been 12, you would end up with 4 bags(1,2,4 and 5) the formula is : 2º, 2¹, 2², 2³, 2to the fourth, ... , 2 the sixth. Anyway, seems we got a bunch o' einsteins here at WC <im
Divide $177 (in whole $ increments) into a number of bags so that I can ask for any amount between $1 and $177, and you can give me the proper amount by giving me a certain number of these bags without opening them. What is the minimum number of bags you will require?
Being Lazy and Dishonest, I take no measurements. I select one marble at random and conveniently dispose of the other eight. I cleverly fabricate some obscure, mathematical equation demonstrating how the denser marble was clearly visible by the smaller shadow it cast on the table.
