Hey everyone, First this is not a "bash this app" or "that app". I have been a faithful PSP user since version 5 and bought every version up to Corel's ver. 10. But the main reason has been cost. That is less of an issue these days. I am aware that in skilled hands almost any app will produce great results. I have seen jaw dropping graphics done with MS Paint. But I have never doubted that Photo Shop is a superior product and I want to make what I consider a step up. I have seen demos

Thanks Night Train , You got me looking in the right place, "Background - Menu" in Classic Colors is actually the one that did the trick. I set it to match the color of the (trumpet blast) Menu Background Never would of made the connection though. Odd setting if you ask me, but thanks again, big time! Ok, never ran into this problem before and getting pretty frustrated trying to fix it. The FILE menu is fine. Regular, clear fonts. The second drop menu for NEW has shadowed fonts. In SkinStudio's font presets, I don't even have any Fonts installed with Shadows. They are all turned off. I can't find where this setting lives. Anyone know this one? I'd appreciate
Hey , Ive have learned a painful lesson. Phoon was right. Been so busy this past year that I haven't drawn much of anything. Then a few cursors recently, and now as I work on larger graphics in WB and Wallpapers, the Banding issue in Gradients has become glaringly apparent just as phoon described. My PC is less than a year old, ATI Radeon X1300 256MB PCI-E using a DVI-I connection, which is irrelevant as this same setup with my Viewsonic CRT didn't present banding issues. After

Just a quick update on 2 problems solved. In SS, in Tools / Preferences on the Program / General page under "On skin save:" the CheckBox " Add copyright notice" needs to be UNchecked so as not to overwrite whatever Editor's Notes you have put there yourself. That's what I was doing wrong. I thought it need to be activated to add my Note, but it writes it's own. And thanks again Cavan and Bushman, got the Transparency on my LogOff Dialogs working easily. ciao

Cavan , hey, that's a nifty little app. Thanks for that. Alas,however, no dice. Ran it. did a reboot. reinstalled SS. Still, frustratingly, everytime I click save in SS, it defaults back to that long message. I tried looking for that text, but all the .uis templates don't even have it, I don't even know where it came from. SS itself keeps the message I want. No problem when I open up preferences, there it is short and sweet. But in the skin itself, I can watch the text change as soon

Hi, Looking for some help with a couple of things I can't seem to make happen in SkinStudio. For one thing, the Editor's Notes that pop up when you open a skin for editing. I guess the default is similar to mine "This skin is copyrighted to Ingui. Please contact author before modifying this skin for any purpose" I just want it to say something simple, like "Copyright 2007 Ingui". Phoon, I have the 19" Samsung 940BW. It's a widescreen, but I was looking at specs online for the 931B and 940BW and they are identical. I'm kinda scratching my head and would appreciate any help with a small problem I am having. When I click "Start>Logoff" or "Start>Shutdown" , the dialogue window that appears has a strange sort of distortion, almost like a curved line above the buttons. The Background Image appears fine in SkinStudio, and even in Windows, for example when changing Blinds, the "Please Wait" dialogue pops up clean as a whistle, but LogOff and Shutdown have this "issue".
