Normal XP Desktop Icon ?

Does anyone know where I can find a perfectly normal Windows XP "desktop" icon for Object Dock? I know it extist, I have seen it in screen shots, but most "Show Desktop" icons are just too unrecognizable.

dunno why you'd want to use it tho. when object dock re-renders a typical windows icon, it becomes more the unrecognizable

You can take the Desktop Icon out of just about any Icon pack and use it, as well.

Thank you guys, But I think I need to clarify...

I am looking for a re-drawn version of the standard windows desktop icon.

shell32.dll contains only a 48x48 image which, of course looks terrible when resized.

I cannot find an icon pack that contains a normal looking one, unless it's just a copy of the 48x48 original.

The Desktop icon shell32.dll,35 contains the following images:

48x48 XP colors
48x48 256 colors
48x48 16 colors
32x32 XP colors
32x32 256 colors
32x32 16 colors
16x16 XP colors
16x16 256 colors
16x16 16 colors

You can extract the individual icon with a program like MicroAngelo and save as a .ico, or pick an individual image and save as a .gif or .png (XP colors), then convert that to an .ico

What are you using to look at the icons in the shell32.dll? In raw format you will see that there are nine images for the desktop icon.

Heres a nice one I've been using on my OD. Hope thats what you were looking for neo. Just a simple Win flag in a .png. it's 192 x192 so it sizes up nice in the Dock.

I am looking for an icon for "Desktop" as in to 'show desktop'
