Thanks for the reply. I tried one image that's 1.5mb then 2 images that are each about 100kb. So shldn't be an issue.

Hi Dr W, Thanks for the reply. I tried two rows of icons in a fence and spacing is still different (vertically) from non-fenced icons on my desktop. For some reason, Fences is selecting its own, or different spacing than native desktop icons. I tried changed the recommended Windows' Scale setting (150%) and that didn't alter the diff is spacing.
Didn't work. I tried changing, just a bit, both vertical & horizontal spacing just to see if that made a diff. No change on the Fences side that I could tell.
sdrohan, Thanks, but doesn't that change the Windows' Desktop icon spacing? I want to keep Window's native desktop icon spacing and have Fences icons spaced the same. Is that possible? Thanks!

Icon spacing inside fences is tighter/closer vertically than Windows Desktop icons. Is there a way to alter spacing of icons within fences? If not, there should be, especially given the large number of posts in this forum regrading similar issues. Thanks!
On Windows 11 Pro, when right clicking on desktop, going to View then selecting Configure Fences nothing happens--the Customize you Fence groups interface does not open. But, when clicking on shortcut in Programs Start Menu, it opens as expected. Any way to fix this? All Windows updates installed as well as system drivers. Thanks, jim </o:OfficeDoc
BTW, after creating fences using either Show Labels “On Mouseover” or “Always,” then select “Never” show labels, most of my icons disappear and the Translucent Fence background(s) cover my entire screen. Normal

I have several fences that I've previously created but can no longer create any. When I drag out a rectangle on my desktop, the popup that prompts to create a fence doesn't appear. I can manipulate my current fences fine, just can't create new ones.
