After reading Brads last newsletter about excessive handles, I checked task manager and was shocked to see over 200,000 - dwm.exe had over 100,000 alone. Before reading about it I must admit I had not paid handle usage any attention at all. Now I am aware, I can't look into tracking down the excessive use culprit.

I too have noticed this in both 6.0 and 6.01 on Windows 10 x64 Window animations - Window/Menu/movement - cease working (moving windows become invisible, Menu and Window animations disappear etc). Process Explorer shows explorer.exe memory use increases to ~500K (4 fold increase) and CPU usage increases to 30%-40% Desktop Window Manager also 30%-40% CPU usage (One physical core, usually Core 0, max usage 100% causing the major slow downs)</
My Object Desktop Subscription runs out in 2 months. From what I gather in the FAQ, whatever stardock app I have currently installed, will continue to run and be "activated" (stay full featured, no expiry), but without the sub I will not be able to receive any future updates to these apps. Is that correct? What happens if I uninstall an app and re-install after the subscription has lapsed (ie a fresh OS install) -
