The Windows Start menu has evolved considerably during the past couple of decades. What is typically considered the focal point of the operating system and the home to all of your apps, has gone from an app launcher to a productivity hub filled with apps, and documents, to a place that shows advertisements . While Start11 makes it easy to remove unwanted content like advertisements,

The desktop is a complicated and wonderful place in the world of Windows. It’s the centerpiece of productivity in Windows 10 and 11 but it’s also a dumping ground for unfinished tasks, icons that open critical applications, and widgets that either try to entertain or provide information to improve your workflows. There are various ways to try and standardize your desktops, from using group policy workflows that won’t fully accomplish what you are trying to do, to try
Ok so that is out-freakin-standing news. Can I also assume there will be no 'Auto renew' on the Classic subs?
We did not migrate anyone into auto-renew. If you are in a classic subscription currently, it will not auto-renew. However, if you extend the classic it will be put into the auto-renewal flow but you will still be in the "classic subscription" model where if it expires, your software will continue to func

Anyone who has a classic subscription can check by going to your account/downloads and you will see the following flag below, that Object Desktop will always remain in the classic model that Stardock has used. Your software will continue to function, even if it lapses, as it always has - however, you will not have access to new software released if your subscription has lapsed. If you extend/renew, you will still be in the Classic subscription as long as you extend the existing account.

I am using the Start Menu > Configuration > Shortcut list area and created a "Quick Launch" that is set to "Display as a menu". I have it displaying at the bottom so it is right above the Start Menu itself. The problem is that when I choose that Quick Launch item at all (just to look at everything I have listed or to launch something fr

What feels like nearly an eternity ago (but was really only a couple of years back), Microsoft announced Windows 11 and started shipping it not long after that.
