Thank you. I am using Beta now, and seems OK. The jumbled mess that was on my screen is now back into proper fences.

Will uninstalling and then dropping back to the previous version preserve fences already made? Or, do I have to reorganize and create new fences?
Does this reinstall preserve existing fences? Or, do we have to redo the fences when reinstalling the previous version?
I have the same problem and posted a similar question. No answer yet. I want to back out of the recent update.
Windows 10. I have been a Fences user for awhile. I updated yesterday (when offered the opportunity), but now my previously established fences are gone, and I get this message when I try to enable Fences: Fences has detected that Explorer was not closed properly. As a precaution, Fences has been temporarily disabled. Try to-renable Fences, right click your desktop and choose "Enable
