I have just installed V2 over the latest release of v1 and when I look in the settings menu/taskbar it informs me in red that the Taskbar is being managed by another program. The only program that modified the Taskbar settings was the old v1 that had just been written over. The new version does not seem to be able to pick that up! I tried to reinstall v1 to remove this setting but that just screwed up all the settings in v1 so now I have performed a restore from a system image an

Yes I have all 4 of these MS buttons off and yes when I enable the task view button I can rearrange the program icons. As soon as disable the MS button to get rid of the clutter I cannot move the program icons!

Yes to both. I have enhanced taskbar enabled which centres the program icon but leaves the start button on the left. I do get a line when I try to drag an icon. If I switch off enhanced I can move the icons. Not very intuitive!

This happens on Boot up If I sign out and sign in again I have seconds showing. That is something I never do as a single user running an administrator account the PC gets re-booted used and then runs in a sleep mode until it wakes to perform some function or event, until the next time it requires a re-boot.

The Seconds do not show on the Taskbar Clock even though it is switched on in Start11 settings. After a bit of investigation, the only way I can make this work is to wait until the PC is fully booted then restart Explorer, then after 20 seconds the seconds show on the clock!!

Just another Start11 bug to report! I find that I cannot rearrange Taskbar program icons. If I pin a new icon to the taskbar it is always added to the right side, if I unpin an existing icon and then re-pin it it's always on the right hand side. The only way to fix this is to disable Sart11 from start-up, restart the PC, drag and drop the the icons into there correct order using the standard Windows 11 taskbar, then re-enable Start11 to start with Windows and either re

Start 11 v 1.31 When the taskbar icons are centered and the start button is on the left the labels for the taskbar program icons are shown on the left as though the program icons were aligned on the left with the start button. If the Start Button is centre aligned then the program labels show above the icons..

Forgot to say, you can delete the shortcut off the desktop or save it somewhere else once it is pinned to Start 11.

If you can right click on your folder and send to desktop to create a shortcut, at this point you can change its icon if you wish. Then right click the shortcut and pin to Start 11. I think that should work.

I have tried to find the setting to move the universal apps into a folder but cannot find it. Where is this setting please?? Then what has happened to the option that was available in Start8 and Start10 to apply a texture to the background of the Start Menu. It's available for the Taskbar in this version but not the Menu?????

I have installed release candidate 1 for Start 11 and although it's pretty good in general I am really frustrated that there is no way to stop all the standard Windows Apps/Programs from showing in the 'All Programs' list. I like to arrange my shortcuts myself into folders "Graphics, Office, Video etc" I really don't like having to scroll down through all the Microsoft rubbish until I can find my folders at the bottom of the list.. I have uninstalled Start 11 and am testing an

I have just installed Start11 beta. It works just fine on my old Lenovo laptop running Win 10 Pro x64. But when I install it on my Intel NUC NUC8i3BEH which is using my Samsung UHD TV as the display, if I try to adjust the font size the font jumps from 100% normal to about 20 times the size at any increase and will not return to 100%!!! The only way back to 100% is to reinstall the program.... Shame really could be a nice feature if it worked as well on th
