I got a new lenovo thinkpad. Of course I had to get start8 on it as soon as I could. I have the same settings on it that I have on my desktop work station. Quite often the on the right of the screen the settings fly out will appear with the status box on the left. Then it goes to tile land and I have to escape. This only happens if the the cursor is on the right edge. I can run the cursor up and down the right and it never triggers it. </

This morning I was in my installed programs to do some cleanup and I saw 2 Start8 entries. I decided to delete to the oldest one (1.02 I presumed) and it gave me an error, sorry don't know what it said. So I decided to delete the other one and re-install. When I did I tried to apply my license key and it told me it was invalid so I installed the free trial. When I restarted it remembered all my settings. My question is, was my key invalid because it was still
