Well, there's only one way to fix that, right? https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/
Yeah. Good one. I know it is just a joke, but you must see what I mean. [e digicons]x_x[/e]

I don't have Object Desktop.
Why can Stardock Central update Stardock programs without requiring a restart, but the downloaded installers can't? By the way... I see that Stardock Central is no longer supported. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e]
ModernMix is already affected. It was good while it lasted. I guess you would have always suspected that the time may come when ModernMix and Start8 may become redundant. Right now, I have no need for ModernMix and have uninstalled it, and I suspect in the near future that I will have no need for Start8. That's not to say that I don't appreciate your great work. You guys make fabulous quality software, but there was

Hi Neil. The problem since updating to Windows 8.1 Update is that I now have a "Minimize" and "Close" button in two places in Modern Apps. If you hold your mouse at the top of the screen, the Windows "Minimize" and "Close" button drop down over the ModernMix buttons. I think I will have to remove ModernMix on my computers.
I have been reading about and looking at screenshots of Windows 8.1 Update 1, and Microsoft have brought back the windows buttons to the apps and are now in windowed mode. Where does that leave ModernMix? [e digicons]
I have only noticed this recently, as I don't use Modern Apps very much anyway, but when I close Modern Apps, they remain in the left hand App Switcher list. I have "Keep closed applications in the Windows 8 left hand app switcher list" under Advanced options unticked. I am using Windows 8.1 64-bit and ModernMix v1.12. Edit: It seems to be working correctly now after a reboot. [e digicons]:D[/e]
Hi Neil. But giving a customer a serial requires them to use an email address which will be mine, and not theirs. Also. What email address does corporate sales require to be used? As you said, an email address must be tied to each serial. PS: Have I been reimbursed for my previous purchases that are now not going to be used?
I'm reordering for the customer. Please cancel my previous order. Contact me for details. Thanks.
If it is too hard to fix, give me a refund on my purchase and I will re-purchase using the email address that I created for the customer. This is really messy having to create an email and Stardock account for a customer every time. There has to be an easier way. The corporate page was useless for doing anything unless you are a charity organization. Please let me know what details you need for my refund. Thanks.
I have just tried creating an account for the customer and it tells me that the serial is already registered to another account. Can you please fix for me? Let me know what details you need? Thanks.
I cannot understand the "Gift This" option. I have tried to "Gift This" for customers computers, but when I try to enter a serial number, it requests a Stardock account name and password. So, which Stardock account name and password is it referring to? Surely, I haven't got to use my details on other people's computers. I have tried pressing "I only have a serial number" button, yet it still asks for a Stardock account email and password. Also. I had to
Can I get the Start8/ModerMix Bundle through corporate pricing?
Thanks Gargabee. I'll check it out.
Hi guys. I do a lot of work for customers and am getting a lot of requests from them to make Windows 8/8.1 easier for them to use. Of course, the simple answer is to use Start8 and even ModernMix. But my only problem is finding a way to register these apps in my customer's names without having to go into their emails to retrieve the codes. Is there a simple way to do this? Thanks...
OK. Thanks Gargabee.
Hi. I just updated to Start8 v1.31, using Stardock Central, but on all my computers I had a "Problem: Code 9" message in the "Status" column. Start8 v1.31 seems to have installed OK. But, what's the problem with that?
I bought WindowsBlinds for my son, but found that after upgrading to Windows 8.1 he was experiencing hangs at startup. I have just uninstalled it and now his computer is starting up fine. Has anyone else experienced this problem running WindowsBlinds on Windows 8.1?
I just purchased a Start8/ModernMix gift for a friend, but I couldn't get Start8 to accept the serial, so I logged in with my account, but now I think it has used my serial instead of the one I purchased for a friend. How do I fix this? Please fix it for me. Just let me know if you need any details. You guys make it so hard to do something that should be so simple.

I am not going to bother installing Windows 8.1 preview. I have no need to. I will wait for the final release. But yeah, I agree with you guys. Stardock know how to do things properly and obviously know what many people expect out of an OS.
I am not going to bother with Windows 8.1 preview. I am going to wait for the release. Is there any benefit in upgrading to Start8 1.17 beta for me? I have been prompted by Stardock Central.
