IIRC, Niven's Ringworld had a star in the middle of it, with the livable surface on the inside of the ring facing the star. A small portion of a Dyson sphere, as it were. Also had orbiting segments between the star and the ring to block the light and provide nighttime to portions of the ring.
I did try a few times to upload some generated Images, but i was doing something wrong (maybe the thumbnail size) and could not make it work,
Ideally, you should upload the thumbnail in the size of 1920x1080 (jpg or png) and put the wall(s) in a zip - jpg or png. Most used sizes are 1920x1080 & 3840x2160.
but to be honest sometimes when I double-click on a program icon, the first time of asking it doesn't actually do anything, but if I simply try again it always seems to work fine, which is a bit weird I know. It hasn't been much of a problem, but maybe that's why Object Desktop for example isn't starting up with Windows, until I manually start it afterwards.
That may very well be related with the issue you experience with Windowb
You have nothing to be sorry about. We're here to help. What is that you have running in your upper right corner? That looks like something that could possibly interfere with the taskbar settings.
I recently installed W11 and therefore Curtains doesn't quite work properly anymore. I'm not sure if this has already been said (probably has), but would Curtains work properly or at least better in W10 compatibility mode as an administrator?
Unfortunately no. Curtains is not compatible with Windows 11 because of the way Microsoft changed the UI for that OS.
Usually, from what i have seen, this happens when OpenShell, Classic Shell or another similar app is running and taking control of the taskbar. Are you sure that's not the case here?
For starters, need to know your full Windows version number (use winver.exe). If you''re on an Insider build of Windows that might be the cause. Are you using any other third party software to customize your Windows GUI?
You may need to expand the size of the window. I wasn't seeing options either, until I resized it. There might be an addon or something else in your browsers blocking this. Have you tried a private/incognito window in your browser(s)? In Google Chrome & Edge: Press Ctrl+Shift+N In Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
Maybe. I have Universal Foundation & Landing Zone. Chad Ross on deviantArt (Yes, same guy, new hobbies): https://www.deviantart.co
The custom skin in C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\ObjectDock\Skin\UI seem to be applied only when running Windowblinds, but I had to log out for it to not be applied, but then it looks even worse, I think, especially the inactive titlebar/header...
And with some windowblinds, it gets close to unusable...
This is how the buttons look with most dark blinds:
Here I have changed the frame, buttons etc. to something more pleasant to my eyes. Another thing is that the buttons are being skinned by Windowblinds and look terrible with some blinds. Here's skinned and Windows default: <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/4/68/468280/c1857a5c-4eb7-422d-9a32-f17e3ef22d14.jpg" alt="" width="646" height
Yes, I can edit the images in that folder, but I'd like to keep it default in case that can produce interface anomalies etc.
Any chance of getting rid of that ugly blue "skinned" config frame? (Windows 10 Home 22H2 19045.4170).

The start menu is from the Sakura windowblind. You will need both Windowblinds 10/11 & Start 10/11 for that to show.

Have you tried clicking the link on that page?
I'm located in Norway and the unsecure link opens in all the browsers on my PC (Opera, Google Chrome, MS Edge & Firefox) + on my Android phone (Firefox/Chrome). Maybe some Firewall/browser/security setting that prevents you from opening http? Anyone?
Those old pages are not on a secure domain (I have no idea if they ever were) but your page are there, just remove the "s" from http s. This works: http://greenreaper.wincustomize.com Maybe someone from Stardock can shed some light on this?
