Thank you. I am using 4.0.0.3. But I am wrong on my other machine, my old machine, in that the scroll bars are not shown when I roll up the fence. That version is also 4.0.0.3 so I am a little more confused that usual. The windows version is also the same. So I made sure the new machine had the same Background Style and Color and the scroll bar and when I checked the box with a check mark "Fade out scrollbars when inactive" the scroll bar disappe
Same issue, but I did not notice it before about a month ago. Now scroll bar is showing on my old machines as well, when it never did before. Windows 10 Pro Build 19041.vb_release 19206-1406....... Anyone got a remedy? I confirm that it only happens on list and list (large)
Sillyrabbit me. YOu are correct and things are working. I did not know I could even do that!
I have the same problem only after loading CCleaner. I could not left click and drag the line to create a new window. Otherwise Fences seems to work. I suspect I will unload ccleaner and see what happens, or perhaps reload fences. Great Product I could not live without.
I used fences at the top as well as the bottom. But the top shows just the title. Before roll up, the files could be shown as a drop down onto the desktop, but now roll up shows the files above the title and I can't see the file names. I can grab the title bar and pull it down to view, but it would be better if the roll down would go to the center of the screen rather than displaying above the title bar and off the screen. Note that usually the title bar would move to the to
I have Windows 8.1. sometimes when moving icons one I am trying to move gets close to the sides and all of a sudden I now have blank screen except for that Icon. I can't get back to the desktop I had before, unless I reboot. What is this? is it a fences attribute??
....restoring the system to an earlier time doesn't work and shows more problems. Some of the portal was partly restored, but not all!! ..Some portals were not restored at all and none of the portals had all the icons restored.......program is too unstable and certainly don't use beyond XP
Same problem, almost at the same time. 1-25-14 7:40AM The file icons in my portals are missing while icons in my non-portal fences are not. Fence snapshots show these are missing too, although the problem just arose today. See the post "I'm done with Fences" posted 1/25/14 6:42AM today. (he is info1790) I have the same problem. He is also using windows 8. Your portals don't work. While your at it, my short-cut keys don't work on portals. Could you fix that t
I bought fences for windows 7 64 bit, and it works great, but now some documents I bring up on the net causes IE9. Disabling apps does not seem to work. any others find this?
Problem remains. I suspect my names are too long. I would have thought Fence could adjust, but not so. So too, I would have thought fences would center the text, but apparently it doesn't. One column of 5 icons is shifted all the way to the left, such that the first letters don't show, while the right side has plenty of room. Expanding the right side does not fix this. Nonetheless, overall I'm pleased

Ok, I think I got it.....I did not do the whole screen but just the fence box with the worst problem... http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/36/screenshotasexampleofpr.jpg/
How do i do that? I see print screen and copied to Paint, but I can't seem to get it to copy to this panel....And I can't find attachment button
Windows 7 64 Text and Icon are not spaced evenly, but are on the left border, too far left to read all of the description is legible. How can I dell Fences to center justify?
Things seem to work well, but the icon descriptions run together. They are not short, but they are not that big either Windows 7 64
