Roll-Up Fences leaves bottom scroll bar

Why does Roll-Up Fences leave the bottom scroll bar visible on some fences; not all.

I'm running Windows 10.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information.

1. Windows 10 version?

2. Fences version?

3. Do you have multiple monitors setting? If you do what is the resolution of those monitors and if it have scaling turn on what scaling you set on it.

4. Do you have deskscape managing your wallpapers?

Thank you.

Could you turn down the scaling and see if the problem goes away.

Thank you,

Changing scaling and removing DreamScapes did not help but I figured it out.

If the View is List or List (Large) and Roll-up fence is selected the bottom scroll bar does not go away upon rolling up the fence. This doesn't happen with the other Views.

I have the same issue as this.

Thanks to debrastallone for pointing out the cause ,,,,, its  shame as I like the List View but cannot live with a scrollbar that wont disappear from the screen.

Same issue, but I did not notice it before about a month ago.  Now scroll bar is showing on my old machines as well, when it never did before.  Windows 10 Pro Build 19041.vb_release 19206-1406.......  Anyone got a remedy?  I confirm that it only happens on list and list (large)

Thank you.  I am using 4.0.0.3.  But I am wrong on my other machine, my old machine, in that the scroll bars are not shown when I roll up the fence.  That version is also 4.0.0.3 so I am a little more confused that usual.  The windows version is also the same.  So I made sure the new machine had the same Background Style and Color and the scroll bar and when I checked the box with a check mark "Fade out scrollbars when inactive" the scroll bar disappeared.  When I unchecked the box the scroll bar the scroll bar reappeared.  So I guessed I just missed this.

Another problem I had when setting up the new machine is that the fields were translucent no matter what I checked or unchecked.   I uninstalled fences and removed my multiple monitor.  Then reinstalled fences and the background was not translucent.  I then added the multimonitor and it then worked.

thank you.

I'm having the same issue: I use List View and Roll-Up Fences on, and the scroll bars stay visible on any folder portal that has more content than can be displayed in its current height. (If you resize the folder portal so it includes all content, the scrollbar will disappear, but this isn't a solution for me as I have some folders with so much content it would undermine the layout I use Fences for.)

I'm on Windows 10, Version 20H2, OSBuild 19042.1466, Windows FEATURE Experience Pack 120.2212.3920.0. Standard 64 bit SOP with 16GB Ram and 3.5GHz processor.

Using two screens, identical models (AOC), both 1920 x 1080. No scaling. Issue persists when changing resolution. Wallpaper handled by Windows.

I didn't have the issue before the upgrade from latest Fences 3 to Fences 4.0.03.

(Incidentally, I also bought ObjectDock, but it made everything run too slow to be usable, e.g. waiting several seconds for tabs to roll out. It's still installed but not running, though doubt it's a factor.)
