Yes ! in both DS 10/11 reinstalls I previously did the "purge" then uninstalled the remainder artifacts of the program with ' Uninstall Tool '. Hi, Here are some images of DS 10 and DS 11 behaviour. You can see that in DS 10, the rendering thumbnail viewer renders wrongly* BUT... the desktop result is correct. I solved the issue but you have a bug : When installing in the default folder, the installation goes ok and NO error message appears. This indicated a bug in the installation process that prevent the SASS (Stardock App ServiceS I presume) to recognize another installation folder than the default one [e digicons]:waaaa:[/e] . Not asking... I'll use a debugger like Aida or another. But if I knew in what language it was created, maybe (don't know) it could be decompiles in the proper source code instead of assembler. Did the purge, rebooted and reinstalled and... same issue :-( I reinstalled with all default options and haven't changed any configurations besides adding folders with Manage Folders. FYI : Deskscapes64.exe, DeskscapesConfig,exe (32) and DS10Srv.exe (32) are running. Stargate

NOPE : not set ! YES : the images are BIG (screen size like the ones up above) and jpg and png don't show... neither dreams nor mp4.
I reinstalled in the default path after having done the Purge as stated in this other thread of mine. If you haven't changed the Purge.bat procedure, it is useless that I do it again and don't really want to do it again for I'll loose ALL links in the Recent section.
