I realize you can't delete the standard folders.
They can't (? I haven't checked) but in "Manage Folders", the checkboxes can be unchecked so they don't appear in the left list. As for the registry, look in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Deskscapes\Dream.ini Best regards Stargate </s

Another bug they have to correct indeed but... you can deal with it by deleting the corresponding values in the registry... On my side though it does work/delete. What is your OS ? Best regards Stargate

Hi guys, Despite the " No suitable decoder found " Mpeg2 error for the Starburst dream, the problem lies somewhere else than in relation with the MPEG2 decoder for I have another dream that is Mpeg2 based and it works fine. This is something else related to how this dream crea
Your issues stem from the changes you made originally . Here are the added folders and they show nothing on the right view panel... %user%\documents\stardock\dreams is full of dreams files and some .jpg and .mp4 videos so... why don't they show ? Hi MagikGimp, I think you're right : I shouldn't have installed the "Mega" pack and I fiddled the customized installation without having full grasp of the outcome. I'll uninstall K-Lite and reinstall the "Standard" pack with default settings but on a different partition. The only thing I wait to do so is for someone (maybe AzDude) to solve the ' Manage Folders ' bug... Best regards Starga
Done ! C:\Program Files(x86)\Stardock\Deskscapes10 , added. C:\Program Files(x86)\Deskscapes10 , remains. I lost all 'Recent' Dreams link in the right panel despite all of them still being in Documents\Stardock\ Dreams\ folder !? Regards Stargate
Ok... I executed the Purge.bat as is then when the message " It is VERY imporant that you now reboot your PC ." came with " press any key to continue " under, I pressed any key. DS GUI poped up with the window asking for a registration key or for 30 days trial choice; I "X" the window that closed DS GUI. I then rebooted. DS is still installed but on calling it, it asks for the registration key or for a 30 days trial. I "X" the window. <str
PURGE not executed yet . I can revert the modifications if you want. But as stated, PURGE aim is to delete all pertaining to DS. It assumes a default install in C:\Program Files(x86)\ Stardock\ Deskscapes10 but I installed it in C:\Program Files(x86)\Deskscapes10 , so I deleted the red part in the batch. What say you ? Yes for C:\ drive installation. Regards

Had to modify your PURGE batch : C:\Program Files(x86)\ Stardock\ Deskscapes10 > Removed the red folder that does not exist. C:\Program Files (x86)\ Stardock\Object Desktop does not exist... > not modified. Ok to execute as modified ?

Hi I have the " No suitable decoder found " Mpeg2 error for two dreams wallpapers (all from CarGuy1) and after having installed the K-Lite Mega pack, still have the same error. What could be wrong ? Thanks in advance Stargate DS10.02 on Win
Many thanks Basj ! Thanks AzDude ! I figured that out about the Dreams folder. But the Manage Folder function is still "broken". Best regards Stargate
Hi 1- If we install the program elsewhere then the default path, Deskscapes config GUI appears for a fraction of a second then disappears when called with desktop r-click | "Configure DeskScapes"... 2- DS does NOT manage folders well : When we add folders in the list, the right pane remains empty even the folder being full of .dream files and .jpg and .avi. 3- The 'Animated' folders (Downloaded and video) are empty. Where are they supposed to point to ? Same question f
