Thanks for that info! I will make a note of that for future monitor purchases.

You're right. If I stand up and look down at the monitor, the colors don't change from top to bottom. I'm very ergonomic minded and have my monitors dead center to my eyes at a slight downward tilt. So now that I know that there's nothing I can do about it, I'll just deal with it. Thanks for helping me to figure that out.
Thanks. The screen shot is at http://tinypic.com/r/2rhtclu/9 Am I seeing things ? Do the fences seem darker at the top ?
Quoting clyfton_hayes, reply 5 How do I post a screenshot? There could be a button on your keyboard, top row... says "print screen" .. hit that, then open irfanview, paint or whatever you have and then save. That will be your screenshot.<b
If you drag your taskbar from the bottom of the screen over to the side, making it a vertical taskbar, is the top of the taskbar too dark and the bottom too light?
My taskbar is black and the color does not change from top to bottom when I drag it to the side as you suggest.
How do I post a screenshot? I see an image insert button but it wants a URL.
I have the latest paid version of Fences and the fences towards the top of the screen are dark. They get lighter the further down they go until the bottom ones are fully bright. I don't like this. I want them all the same color but I can't find a setting to adjust this. How can I set them all to the same color?
ok well then that's another weird thing I am now aware of. When I quick-hide, all my icons disappear .. even the ones that are not in fences.
Philly0381 ... you were right ... thanks ... I've never used that option in my life so I don't know how it got checked. RedneckDude ... thanks for the advice ... but is there a way to arrange icons on the desktop (that are not in a fence) through fences instead of Windows Icon Handling?
I originally purchased fences years ago. It had too many problems so uninstalled and waited for new versions to try again. Sadly, I'm only using it a week and have already had 3 issues to report to the forums. The latest one is ... I added a new icon to my desktop. Then I right-clicked the desktop to sort by type. Then I got a pop-up from fences asking something about maintaining a sort order. I chose NO. I then moved the icon to another scr
I have only been using fences for a week or so and I notice droopy fences. I have 14 narrow fences in a row and most of them gained extra blank space at the bottom somehow. I have not added or subtracted icons from the fences. I had to go and tighten them all back up again. What is going on ?

I don't see a way to post a screen shot. The INSERT IMAGE button on the editor is wanting a URL.
Here's an example. At one point I clicked on one of the icons and two seconds later all icons disappeared. I have it set to the max of ten minutes so I must have been close to the ten minutes.
The option says "automatically hide icons when the desktop is not in use" which is what I want it to do. But it is hiding icons regardless of whether the desktop is in use.
I have 64bit Windows 7 OS and Fences 2.13 I have Auto-hide turned on. However, it does not seem to know when I am doing anything on my computer because it hides after the timeout regardless of activity. What do I do to fix?
