Whenever I switch to a non-aero theme, windowsblinds, or my nvidia geforce drivers, disables the auto-throttling of my Geforce GTX480x2 SLI video cards. This results in the GPUs not being able to scale themselves down from 700 to 405mhz, and again from 405-51 mhz depending on whether or not I have activity in my windows. The feature works fine for windows classic and aero themes. The net result of this is that my idle temps for my SLI setup skyrocket using windows blinds, from around
