I found out, on my own, that some files in the user folder were the culprit, but i couldn't find out which ones so i recreated the user and lo and behold, Fences is not crashing Explorer anymore. I have no idea how a user file/folder could crash Explorer, maybe one of those 32 character hexadecimally named folders/files were the problem (named like XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX), or maybe some NTFS permission or something.

Well i didn't run ccleaner but i did run another another cleaner after the reboot after i uninstalled but it didn't help. Fences Pro crashes no matter if i install it using Impulse or the stand-alone executable from the Stardock website.

I have bought Fences reasonably recently and now i find it doesn't seem to work. It seems to be crashing Windows Explorer and i can't seem to find out why. After i uninstalled the Pro version and also Impulse, i installed the Free version of Fences and it works without a problem. It seem quite strange that the version i haven't payed a dime for works and the one i had to shell out cash for went belly up. I'm running Windows 7 x64 Professional with Aero enabled
