4.0 updated on Epic after the Epic launcher updated. I stopped playing my new 4.0 game because I was unable to interact with anomolies. when I clicked on the button, it went to the next item, it did not open the interface choice dialogue.

well, it's been over 24 hours, and the insider edition of galciv iv is still 3.3.1 I need to see if I can get it moved to steam.
Not up on Epic yet (5hrs later). Do I need to buy the DLC?
Admit it. You are in league with the people behind Surviving Mars Relaunched, aren't you? They also bumped their release to Q3. It's a Conspiracy!
I'd like to see the GalCiv tech tree using the Endless quadrant. Not a completely interactive, but a mock up to show what it looks like zoomed out. It's unfortunate that there is only one prerequisite each - I think the tech tree would look / work better if you could choose Starbases OR Asteroid mining, instead of them flowing in a line. Branching, more than linear, esp if you just click on what you want and it queues up the prerequisites. I do think what you di
I started a new game under 3.20, and now I have both a Science Advisor and a Minister of Technology, a Colonial Secretary and a Minister of Colonization, as well as a Defense Secretary AND a Minister of Defense. They provide identical buffs. Starting sector is also too small, but still better than the huge ones in earlier builds.
I'm really not sure about the 3 choices building. I personally use a mod from Sarellion that gives you the building on turn one and lets you decide where to put the one you choose. I used to not get the event that give those building either with a custom made civilization. Having said that I did forward your issue to the team. As for Tales of Arnor, that's normal. The screen hasn't changed. If you go in the Mission menu you should se
When I loaded up as 2.95 Arnor and started a game as the Altarians, I also did not get the turn 3 choice / building. Did they change this? Further, the main screen says Megastructures, not Tales of the Arnor.
What civs were you playing ?
Basically Altarian - Altarian phenotype, ancient, empathy, too much social, but I changed the points around to give my ships more speed and range.
Just started a game in Arnor, did not get the turn 3 choice. No idea if this a bug or wad.
I was playing around with the Population editor, and made a Neo Altarian race with +2/+2/+2 instead of +6 to social. When I started the game, I did not get the turn 3 choice with Council of Sages. WAD or Bug? I am still Ancient. And to be honest, I don't really care, the random placement of the special Altarian building was pretty pathetic and ignored both tile boosts and adjacency. But I would like some clarity, and possibly the ability to choose
Version 2.94 I got an Survey event "Sleeper Ship" with Iconians. The first choice "Repair the ship and welcome them to our civilization" gives me a Constructor, not a colony ship with a unit of Iconians in it.
1) Can we we get the building as as 1 turn building (like a capital building or civ VII turn 1 scout / warrior)? I would like to be able place this building myself instead of trusting the RNG. Same to many other spawned buildings - I would prefer to place them myself. 2) Do the buildings unlocked by Ancient (Procipinee, Elemental Fabricator) benefit from tile and adjacency bonuses?
Random unannounced 20 odd meg patches are usually Steam's fault in my experience. Backend stuff I think. And yes, I got one as well.
Any chance of a new build this week?
I see many mercenary ships have too much mass. Mouse over and you will see 105/85 (Path of Rhuin), 70/65 (The Raptor), 201/.180 (The Starlab), 164/160 (The Perseverance). Others have too little mass - a lot of the support (Cargo) ships are 62/100 - Whisper, Fencer, Friendly Mike
Did they change that? I could have sworn I used to get multiple robot hunting or Worm Hunting colony events per game, but I am only be getting one per game now. Something linked to the Precursor DLC perhaps? Don't remember this chance in a change log. It usually shows up around 30-35 planets for me as well.
I play on Gigantic map, custom faction, all but Snathi as majors. I also get excessive memory use and the graphics slowly gain brightness until they become washed out and I have to quit/restart. The game also pauses / hesitates (and sometimes crashes the system) when one of my scouts uncovers something new under FoW. I exit normally, exit to main menu then quit. I usually quick start, unless I am looking to tweak something, in which
That fits what I recall. Start new game twice in a row without playing, or just playing for a turn or 2, did not do it for me though. Don't have time right now to play 2 games for 25 turns each.
I was able to reproduce twice by starting game, then going back to the main menu. After that I started new game. Played several turns, exit game. Game continued to run.
To reproduce, do you need to actually need to "start new game" twice in a row or just go back to the menu and then reload or quickstart?
I've seen this as well, no idea how to reproduce though.
I think it means it was released to everyone who did not opt in.
Just happened to me again after the March 1 opt in, added the save to my ticket.
I find it annoying at game start that you get a 1% penalty at 45/45/10 and a 10% penalty if you use the focus on top of this. Makes foci useless in the early game, and requires a messy 44/44/12 to avoid the penalties. I also dislike that there is no warning if you are getting coercion penalties. Took me a few games for me to even see the pop up on the penalty to raw production when I used focuses.
The "Merc inflation rate" was raised by 5, so I'd say so. 1.6: 0.10 1.6.1 0.5 There are caps to them (a single hike can never go more than 1000 credits, for instance), but, yeah. They went up. [e digicons]:)[/e]
&nbs
