Sir JamMeister33, You don't actually have to Install ME to update. All you need is the CD of ME. When you do either an upgrade (best to do clean install) or a clean install. When it comes time for WinXP Home or Pro to check if you in fact have the earlier OS (be it ME or Win2K)it just asks for you to insert the disk into the CD Drive. I keep Edit Pad (a free program similer to NotePad, but with more capabilities) "Pinned" to my start menu (right click on any program that you've just used in XP and select "Pin to Start Menu") That way whenever I run across a good tip no matter where I'm surfing, I can just right click the "tip" or "dialog", drag across it to highlight it, right click again to "copy" it, hit the start button to bring up edit pad, click on it and then paste the tip in. You can leave it running in the back ground

I keep seeing *bump* What does it mean? And Mrbaser5nature I'm not sure but what I've been doing is: Example...you have a game installed to say G:\Programs\Games\Solitaire.exe so when it asks for a "Start in" argument, I will put: G:\Programs\Games\ and leave off the actual execution file. I noticed that when I typed the link out and sent the message, a little blue button appeared. I guess you have to put the actual link in quotes or something? Or else leave off the http:// stuff and just show the website name minuse the net or com but show the net or com on the next line?

Tried to click on the sysmetrix website and/or the download tab. My web browser is not working properly since I downloaded an add on to IE. Now whenever I click on a link, nothing happens. My work-a-round for the time being is to just paste the link into the browser. I've been wondering the same thing. i.e. Not how to install, or where to install, but where do you obtain the actual program "Sysmetrixs" (if in fact that is what I need to use the various skins produced for Sysmetrixs).

IMHO....I've noticed that since I try to read as many post's or comments that I can (no one could read them all) at any rate here is my question or statement: It is interesting to note that as people become more adapt at creating and submitting they become more and more "touchy" (for lack of a better word). It depends on which version of windows you are using. You can copy the wallpaper in to the windows folder if you have Windows 9.xx. If you have Windows 2000 you need to copy it into the WINNT folder (same with WindowsXP) Also in WindowsXP you can just right click on the file with your mouse and select "Set as desktop". If you copy the file into windows folder, then you can bring up "Display" by right clicking on the desktop, going the "Desktop" tab and scroll down to the file name and selecting

Hey WOM, I tried to upload my desktop (not actually mine but an assortment of the various things available on WinCustomize) but I don't see anywhere in the edit menu that has anything to do with "desktops". As far as I know I am up to date with all of the various programs in Object Desktop??

TOON-XP is a fantastic desktop suite. One very minor problem. I'm unable to set the clock on the top of the screen. I wish I could afford Photoshop 7, but the replies are a bit caustic. What they are trying to say is that it has a STEEP learning curve and the only way you will be able to learn it is to practice, practice, practice.
