I have three hard drive, two 30GB and one 10GB. I use one 30GB for my programs and O/S and one 30GB for toatal image backup with PowerQuest Drive Image. The 10GB drive I use for shareware type programs that I download from the net and for any program that I don't have a disk for. If a program is important to me then I will burn a disk to hold it for possible re-installment if my system blows up. I have 384MG of ram and since it is an older pc, I can't add any more. If I could only choose one or the other then I would most definately go with Window Blinds if your watching your money but Object Desktop would only be an additional $20.00 ($49.00 total). It is well worth the price. That said, I also use StyleXP. I have WinAmp2.8 & WinAmp3 however now when I load any skin that calls for WinAmp, both of them load. Not a big deal but I then have to close one or the other. And I agree that WinAmp3 is really neat.

I have a lowly Pentium II G6-400 made by Gateway with the WindowsXP Pro O/S and it amazes me that I am able to run all of the stuff that I do. Even WindowsXP Pro is not supposed to be able to run on my machine but it does and it is not really all that slow. What WiseOldMan says is true, however there are a lot of screensavers out there that are really quite pleasent to look at. Even tho I am adicted to computers, I don't sit at one all the time and a good looking screensaver is nice to come back to. So IMHO I agree with Citizen James Keller.

I just re-subscribed to OD a couple of weeks ago. This is my second time subscribing and I plan to continue for as long as OD is available. It is probably my error in the first place but I'm never quite sure what folder to download the various skins, themes, desktop objects, etc. to. I hope someone can tell me. My gut instinct is to create a themes folder within each applet that uses them, like WindowBlinds, WebBlinds, Skin Studio and DesktopX. But I'm not sure if Object Desktop will then be able to find them? I use IE5.5 to go the the WinCustomize site and click on download and a downloader pops up and asks me where I want to downl
