This product Winstep Extreme is one of the best desktops that I've ever used. The price mix up from the billing company has been resolved and the product itself is worth every cent I paid for it. Anyone reading this forum should try the product out for themselves. You won't regret it!!!

Reply to Quote: HuronJoe, you can get the promotional 50% off price from HERE . The reason you won't find it anywhere else is because it's a promotional upgrade price for users of the stand alone Nexus version that was just released. I uninstalled my trial version of WinStep Extreme, downloaded the stand alone free version of Nexus, clicked on the "about" but
Quote: So, if you want to put your hands on Winstep Xtreme for only $19.95 (and still get the same cool Nexus-style UI before the end of the month), now is your chance! How do I do this?
I have a Full Trial version of WinStep Extream running on my system for the last two days. I really like it but they are asking $39.90 for it and you're saying that if I purchase the full version before the end of the month I can get it for $19.95. I like that price much better. However I can't find any "about" menu to click on to get the reduced price. Can anyone help me on this?
I am unable to install CursorFX Plus. When I click to re-download the program from the "Upgrade Information and Serial Numbers for your Stardock Products" it tells me to re-download Impulse and use the serial number supplied to me (via the letter) Product Name : CursorFX Plus (Upgrade) User Name : Joseph P Gumbleton Download : http://www.impulsedriven.com/about.asp (Install
Fantastic Update to WinCustomize.com Also I would like to point out that gef must of had a lot to do with this fresh design as his "Customize" desktopX skin is extremely similar if not exactly the same. I use "Customize" as my main desktop and therefore have no confusion with going to WinCustomize.com Great work to all who contributed to the new site design.
Appreciate the information but when I try to install the Emoticons Pack(s) I get a message that states: "Class Not Registered". I don't know what that means but I suspect because I have cookies disabled that is what the result is.
Hi Everybody, count me in from East Tawas,Michigan
I just put in the $20.00 for a renewal to WC and I have purchased around 95% of all of the Stardock products. However I have no idea when my current subscription to WC runs out. I don't mind contributing money to keep the site going since I don't have the talent to do the skinning. To me it is worth it to be able to alter and change my Windows XP pro desktop to reflect my current mood. How do you tell when your WC subscription or your Stardock OD
I'm trying out Netscape 8. Its far superior to all previous version of netscape and I've tried them all. Firefox is still my main browser and I use IE6 for checking my msn and hotmail account, as well as the only browser you can use to get the latest XP updates is IE. I finally learned how to use Outlook to check my regular mail as well as hotmail and msn. So now I'm no longer tied to IE. If Netscape alows the eariler extensions from Firefox to be usab
It would be nice (since some of use are still using 56k modems) to have a resume feature when you get interupted downloading. Also when you purchase a CD such as the "Orion Icon Premium Suite" and then it shows up as available in Stardock Central you should be able to just load it from CD rather then re-downloading to make it show up as "Installed" I hope this post makes sense. <A HREF
I'm retired and learning to use the pc as a diversion from boredom. I got to thinking that having one's own database might be usefull. You could link all of the shareware you purchase with the vendors and websites, along together with the necessary serial numbers or keys to install. But where do you begin. One database would lead to another and it seems very complicated. Would you set it up as a "contact list"? Do you link to your own personal email contacts? Is a "Family
This is my first attempt at keeping a blog. I hope it is right down my alley. My mind has always been playing this little tape recorder of current events, past events, and sometimes even future events. I just get bored very easily and so if I'm not reading, watching TV, listening to good music, walking my dogs, trying to figure out the latest downloads from
#31 "Yeah, how do you clean a 400 gallon tank anyway???" In my (3) 30 gal tanks, they are all heavely (sp) planted and all I have to do is change the filter medium occasionally and do weekly water changes of 25% with a Pythlon syphon connected directly to my bathroom sink. Takes about 15 minutes and my tanks are crystal clear. A 400 gallon tank would even be easier as your wouldn't have change from tank to tank. These are freshwater tanks (as opposed to saltwater) and I just have Guppie
Treetog: I also enjoy aquariums. I have 3 of the 30gal high tanks in one stand all in a row to appear as if they are all one tank. Is there any way you could put a link in to your message to show your 400 gal tank. I would love to see it.
I'm not gay but my boyfriend is. /me couldn't resist putting that old line in to the discussion Oddly enough when I started reading this thread it was only at 67 replies and now its at 103, whoops 104 counting mine. Also I agree with #98 by Citizen JamMeister33 "I may be wrong but words
If any information is put out at all, it should be to let people know that the discussion group exists. Maybe should be put into the readme text for all software downloaded from Stardock. I know that may be over simplifing so if not in the readme text then in the ad's listing the various programs. There is an enormous amount of tips and tricks offered every day from the discussion group. It makes for a friendly enviroment to learn from. Its true that not all web site discussion groups are as goo
Welcome aboard Citizen Gunnar Guovaroar i.e. new member without the little gizmo's over the o's You will find that this is a great site and 99 99/100 of all the people are very friendly and very helpful. /me just wanted to show you that with a little effort I could put the little gizmo's over the o's too.....Citizen Gunnar Guðvarðarson /me is getting so cool.. <img src="http://images.
Ah Jafo but your not the only one that can use the "Icon" Hmmm, I guess you are. I put it into my little icon base on my pc but was unable to paste it into the message. It must be nice to be King.
Hey GA, its no different from talking to someone on the other side of the globe...they can tell you what is going to happen tomorrow. My sister was stationed in Japan and she could always let me know about the next day. /me wonders if only he could play the Lotto that way?
Thanks goodmorphing. I will try that the next time it comes up. I am assuming that you can also use this tip to direct a request to a specific author's spot for there skin that you might be telling someone about. Example I like so and so's desktopX skin...take a look...and then copy URL and paste.
Same on my system Gadget Girl. My system updates so fast that it is really not a problem for me but I could see that it would be anoying if I didn't have a fast connection. Also I tend to think that there is so much going on at the moment at Stardock that you really can't consider this the norm. Give it a few days to self correct. /me is also cool today and not even related to Fuzzy Logic <img src=
What Wayne A Conrad said. Same with my original system.
Just adding my two cents. I tend to agree with Elfkura and the many others who say that Kazaa is not a bad thing. I guess another analogy would be a gun. I don't own a gun but I have never blamed the gun for the murders that have been committeed. I do have a copy of Kazaa on my system and have had it for over a year. In all that time I have only downloaded two songs that I couldn't find locally (I live in the boon docks). I liked them so well that I did in fact wind up buying the CD's (two diffe
No problem with PixOS on my system. Sometimes the SysMetrix program shows up about 2" to the left of where I last left it and I just open up config and hit the little arrow bar to move it back in position. I then save the theme and it works 99% of the time. For the 1 percent it doesn't I just redo the above. PixOS is without a doubt my favorite theme. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border
