Alrighty then, I just want to make sure that when I install ObjectDock Plus 2, I won't lose all my custom menus, tabs, etc. I read on another thread that the new version uses the same folders so the setings should be intact, okay, so, does "settings" include the custom icons, etc? Will it load up exactly what I have now and then I can alter it as I want with the new features? Or will I need to recreate some or all of the custom stuff I have already

Is there a way to designate certain programs to NOT pick up the attributes/properties from the WB collection so they'll use the standard system colors? I'm sure this must have been asked before, but I did search the forums here with several criteria and located nothing. Or, is there a quick and easy way to disable/renable the customization? The problem I'm trying to mitigate is that in some progs, e.g.,SQL Server Manag
Okay, I guess they are working on it.. No solution/work around suggestions provided at this time, but here is the support answer: " The clock gadget update issue is a known compatibility problem with Windows 7." ....... So... for the time being, I guess some clock gadgets work with Win7 and others simply don't. But at least it is a known issue... I did notic
Impulse is showing an update to Stardock Virtual Desktops, the file size indicated is 680 Bytes, which seems a little strange, and when the update is attempted an error occurs. It seems to download the 680 bytes (shows the d/l progress, albeit quickly flashing by) and then just reports the error the status window. So, perhaps an incorrect file linked there?
No guesses? So trial and error suggestions? Not even a "Hey you moron, the order page DID say XP/Vista and you have Win7.. DUH!!" , however, I must admit I did in fact overpay for the thing.. forgot to enter my subscription info to get the discount, so not only does my clock stare at me in defiance, but also cackles maniacally at my fiscal stupidity... sheesh Well, I did try the middle finger thump technique on the center of the clock face.. I thought I heard a faint ti
[quote who="Lantec" reply="12" id="2576022"] only to find out The issue would not arise if people would actually READ the product page. Wasn't that difficult to understand really, the reg process was a pain in the arse for him, and those pop-up adverts about games/etc. from impulse are the spam. Kagalaska, can't you just disable Impulse and use it only for downloading? I don't particularly care to buy a program that I want, only to find out that I must install another program to get it. No option.. you MUST install this other program (before we'll give you the one you bought) which will conn
The subject pretty much sums it up, but I guess I'll repeat for clarity. I bought the DesktopX pro version, along with several others all at once. I am not sure if I just went down the list and installed Everything availabe at the time through Impulse, of if both of these installs are necessary for the "package" to work. Should I just uninstall the free one? or uninstall both and reinstall Pro? or simply leave it like it is and sacrifice a chicken to the gods to invoke oth
Okay, so here I am again. Fixed the weather gadget via the .bat download, and now trying to fix the stuck clock hands. Upon loading the gadget, the time displays correctly however never updates. The hands don't move. I saw a similar problem mentioned with this theme but back in 2008 when dealing with Vista. The clock gadget from the Aero Midnight theme works perfectly as wpuld be shown in the attached capture if there was a way to attach a photo rather than needing
Well now, this is interesting, Just installed the Harley My Colors theme, and got it all working nicely. Running Fences, The gadgets, CursorFX, and loaded up Object Dock Plus. Everything seemed all fine and dandy... I added a built in tab to the tabbed version (taskbar).. and then clicked on "remove this tab" to take it off... the system locked at that point. I was forced to do a hard start with the power button. Upon resta

I have this exact issue when applying any theme from theme manager. That link just above doesn't really solve the problem (I think) because this is true with every theme I've tried to apply. Even ones with (supposedly) correct links and supporting Win7. So, you applied beta version: "I simply upgraded to v3.98 BETA and it started working correctly"... Beta version of what? MyColors? or Theme Manager? And where did you get
