Impulse update file glitch in downloading Stardock Virtual Desktops...

Stardock Virtual Desktops

Impulse is showing an update to Stardock Virtual Desktops, the file size indicated is 680 Bytes, which seems a little strange, and when the update is attempted an error occurs.  It seems to download the 680 bytes (shows the d/l progress, albeit quickly flashing by) and then just reports the error the status window.

So, perhaps an incorrect file linked there?

That shouldn't have shown that. Adjusted, ty.

Hi Nakor,

Instead of pulling an orange out of your "bag of tricks", how about pulling out a fix for Windows 7.

Stardock Virtual Desktops installs fine, but there is no Taskbar->Toolbar context menu item even after a restart. This wonderful application worked fine on XP and Vista, but does not work on my new laptop running Windows 7.

Minimum:
  • Windows 2000/XP/2003
  • 256MB Ram
i5 M430 (64 bit)
4GB RAM
Windows 7 Professional
UAC Off

The problem is you are using a 64 bit OS.  A 64 bit OS requires a 64 bit Stardock Virtual Desktops which does not exist.

But it'd be nice if it did. :) |-) :sun:
