Is it possible to transfer my Fences license? I decommissioned a machine and would like to use the same license on the new machine.

I'm running Windows 11 22H2 OS Build 22621.525. Start 11 v2.11. Style "Windows Pro Style". Actually today it is not happening. Before it was randomly appearing, now it is not.
I seem to get this "All Apps" sometimes, and its forcing my tabs to be truncated... Can I tun that off? I'm using the latest version of start11. Its strange because only some tabs get it.
I haven't tested that, I don't want to because that will screw up everything. Note it is only happening on the file listings. I have like 4 fences. It does not happen at all for the fence itself (or for any icons in any fences), it is only when files are listed in the fence that will have this problem. I'll try to change my scaling soon if I can to test but can't promise anything..
I do have my scaling up. See screenshots for this info. If there is anything that can be improved it would be great. https://snipboard.io/MjXUvn.jpg https://snipboard.io/bCiMKH.jpg https://snipboard.io/yt3D7S.jpg
How do I stop this from happening? I'm on Windows 10 with Fences 4.10. The fences goes right over my open windows and stuff.
There should be, all long filenames should be truncated (as an option) I would think.
Is there a setting top stop filename wrapping? I'm using Fences 4.10 I think.
I don't think I have a ODM.. I only installed fences directly. Is there a odm.exe somewhere? How do I run this?
how do I turn off update notifications? I see nothing in the about.
Where can I download older versions of Fences? I can't use it now unless I get a previous version.
No reason, but its still Windows 10. Why can't it just work? Its not like I'm running Windows 7 or something. I'll try to downgrade I guess. Is there a direct link to the older installers somewhere?
1) Windows version 1607 (Build 14393.0). 2) The latest version, I guess its 3.13. Everything was fine on the older version for years. I just allows the update to happen and now that error happens.
I just upgraded. This is what I get every single time Fences runs. "Fences has detected that Explorer was not closed properly. As precaution, Fences has been temporarily disabled." https://snipboard.io/ujhezO.jpg When I enable it again it just happens again.
No, I can't rename them at all. Must be my machine.
I can't rename these items. I use to be able to at least change the filename, it just didn't stick. no error given. Now I can't even try to rename, it does nothing when I right click and select "Rename". Fences 2.12, Windows 10. UAC is off. I can delete items, just can't rename so its not a permissions problem. <
File renaming has never worked. https://forums.stardock.com/474328/page/1/#3625188
Does fences 3 still allow the listing of files? did it fix anything? can I rename a file now? before I couldn't.
1) I have a fence that has a file listing of a folder. when a file is dragged into the fence (and therefore folder) it does not automatically resort the listing like the File Explorer does. 2) I can't rename files, it does nothing. I can delete the file, open it, etc. just can't rename it. 3) Would like the column widths in Details view to remember the width. I assume this is coming from the File Explorer default setting, but fences should manage it s
Elevated privileges won't matter. I have the rights to delete a file in a fences file listing, I just can't rename. Therefore its a bug. If its a rights issue both deleting and renaming wouldn't work.
Its a local folder on c:. I can goto the folder and rename files normally without any security prompt in File Explorer. I don't know if there is a setting in fences that prevents me from renaming it. Is there? I just want to rename a normal file. How do I try to run fences in admin mode?
Fences 2.12 under Windows 10 64bit I have a fence on the desktop that lists files. I cannot right click on a file and rename, it just sits there and does not let me enter the new filename. The right click context menu comes up, but when I goto Rename nothing happens. Very annoying.
Great, thanks. Right in front of me as always.
Hi, in 64bit Windows 7 I just double click anywhere on my desktop and my icons and fences hide. I double click and it comes back. Its a feature. Is this from fences 2.1 or windows 7? how do I disable it? It happens on my new laptop but not my old. very strange.
If you disable Fences in the right-lick context menu in Windows 7 with something like ShellExView to hide it Fences won't load properly. If anyone cares.
