I figured it out. just resize the icons, then resize them back

Fences icons have border? in Stardock Software Stardock Forums

I'm using the free Fences 1.0 under windows 7 64 bit. all was fine until I screwed my icons up by dragging them around by mistake. now I have some of my icons with a thin border around them. why? how do I get rid of this border? thanks.
