How many Dreams come with the product?

I was playing around and added a stackdocklet and works perfect. So I added a new stack and downloaded a nice Icon from Wincustomize and edited the new docklet. Made the icon to show always and because it was not such a small one, I changed the setting in the configuration to optimal (high perfomance etc) so all must be done now. But when I start my computer, the icon does not show. The docklet is there and I can open it, but no icon. The icon is placed in the same folder as the other

Thanks allot guys and Bichur for the explaination. Did not know that about the desktopicon and makes it clear why it does not work. Shame, because it is the easiest way to go to the desktop, but I do not think I would die any second earlier because I have to use WinKey+D or M. A big thanks for the fast help!

No, on my computer, the one in the taskbar (near the startbutton, you know, on the left side). When I want to hop over to my desktop and use the dock, it is gone while the settings are correct. It is an clean install, no extra's added or whatever could make the dock disfunction like this. Like I said, it does work when I go to my desktop by closing the windows (or resize etc), but not when I go directly to my desktop. At this moment, I use only 1 dock.

@Bichur: These settings I already have. So I did it the right way, but how come the dock dissapears when I use the desktopicon?

Thanks for your reply. But is your setting not supposed to dissapear when not in use? When I do that, it is also gone when I do this. Strange thing is that it does not go away when I close my windows to the taskbar, only when I visit my desktop by the desktopicon in the taskbar.

Howdy experts! I have tried many things and maybe I just am missing something, but I just seem not to get to keep the Objectdock on my desktop. What do I want? I want to keep the dock on my desktop all the time. When a window is opened I do not want to see it. So only on the desktop. Now I have set 'Keep on bottom' but when I go the desktop via the icon, it is not there. I must click or hover the taskbar to get it up again. What are the correct settings to do what
