Because isn't it obvious that the things I am referring to are the things that manifest only when you are already engrossed in the gameplay and can't be detected before and that specifically have a tendency to appear in these kind of games?

You know how the complete randomness of unit damage in combat part of Civilization 4 completely destroyed the entire game so that I lost all desire to play it any further because I got tired of reloading? And how combat perfectly works in King's Bounty: The Legend/AP? I also remember how randomness in skill selection upon leveling in HOMM5 destroyed the game enough to stop playing it...I still can't get over that. Well, let's hope that there won't be "li

Just pointing out the borderline functional illiteracy of a developer which prevented him to understand anything.

Hm, I would have never even tried to play King's Bounty: The Legend if animations of units and spells weren't as good as they are. I'm positive that's the case with most people. You really don't know what you are talking about.

Of course, accumulative effect goes without saying, it's just that in many cases animation is key to gameplay enjoyment or gameplay annoyment.

Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 will cause a mass upgrade shift as number 1 most anticipated PC exclusives, so the number of people you are adapting the game for is really going to be irrelevantly marginal.

I'm not worried about graphics card, nor should you. I now have RADEON HD5770,GDDR5 1GB, I think most people will have far above min.sys.req. by the time the game will be ready for release, so you should spend less time making it available for a very marginal percentage of the market, and focus more on various visual effects and animations in the combat portion of the game so it would be more appealing for a larger percentage of the market. P.S. By the m
that GAMEPLAY is the most important part of a game.
Well, that's just a false dichotomy , animations enrich every aspect of every game, remember Resident Evil 4,5, Mass Effect, Plants vs Zombies, Gyromancer.... Every game that failed had some fundamental flaws in the quality of animation.

Will people enjoy seeing combat action as much as they do in King's Bounty? This is the most important part of the game, after all....

BTW, where can one find the combat gameplay video? I said I would be back after a couple of months to see if there is any new development in releasing such videos...
but you could only have a dozen or so unit animations on the screen at once, hence they could be quite detailed.
The quality of animation always breaks or makes the game, this is true for any genre, whether it is weapon animations in FPS or in Plants vs Zombies. Animations(from lat.animare=give life) are pivotal to gameplay enjoyment. I really don't like your irrationality void of any arguments and substance

Will Elemental have at least the same depth of tactics, spells, combat, units, exploration and character development as it is in King's Bounty: Armored Princess , and will the unit animation and detail be of the same quality in combat portion of the game as it is in that game?
The game engine looks nice but after playing the CIV4 fantasy mod I wonder if the gameplay is a bit lightweight from what I have seen.
That's why mind-blowing combat animations and spell effects will be crucial as well as the RPG feel of advancing your character and your units. Even in Civ4 units gained experience and abilities but it was very rudimental and linear.
