LOL Though perhaps instead of the "$9.99 purchase" button at the bottom could say "Unlock all Features" or something to that effect. We had some store twitches this morning, so it showed we were sold out. We're not sold out, and it should be displaying correctly now.

I'm pretty sure most people covered rectangles by the age of 4.
Yes, rectangles, but also logically rearranging several small rectangles within another rectangle in a way that maintains their usefulness. If someone has an entire 1920x1200 screen covered with fences of varying sizes and dimensions, translating that smoothly to a muc

It would be great if I could slide my fences from my left monitor onto the right, and vice versa.
As cool as that sounds (and it's a good idea, for sure), there's the issue of differing screen sizes and the logistics involved in moving from a 1920x1200 fence arrangement onto a 1024x768 screen. If you switch to a theme other than Classic in Windows, you should be fine.

Generally within two business days, though it varies based on workload. We're closed on weekends, so we're usually working through that backlog on Monday and Tuesday. Also, make sure not to respond multiple times to a ticket unless you have needed information to relay, as we order off of last reply date, so multiple replies will move your ticket back to the end of the line.
Is this Fences free, Fences Pro, or the Fences 2 Beta?
Yes....what Neil said. This definitely is NOT the first time that Norton's methodology adversely impacts on others.
Norton isn't the only culprit, either. The new IE has its SmartScreen (I think that's what it's called) that scans downloaded files for ones it recognizes. It's blocked some of our software before for the same reasons.

I'll pass this along to the developers.
These are all things we're looking into now. Feasible? Who knows, but we'll at least take a stab at it. :)
Two features worth looking into. [e digicons][/e]
That context menu is still there, and if you right click in the very bottom left corner, it will still show, as well as still being able to be displayed by pressing Win+X. Not sure how possible Metro apps on the taskbar is, as Microsoft has gone to great lengths to keep Metro at least somewhat sandboxed. Certainly worth looking into, though.
Not bad ideas, to be sure. I'll add them as suggestions to our system.
The lack of the blur effect is probably the biggest difference between the visual look of Start8 and the Vista/7 start menus, so that's probably what you're sensing.

There is a whole host of options available by right clicking on the Start8 button. Take a look, and play around with them, and see what fits your use case best.
It would be nice to have separate 'Vista' and 'Win7' skins. In Win7, the Start button said "start',while in Vista it's the orb in Start8. I'd kind of like the option.
If you right click on the button, there is a "Pick a different Start Button image..." option that lets you choose from a variety of different button styles.
