Fences and Windows 8

New to this forum and new to much of this type of thing.

I am very interested in Fences as my desktop get so cluttered.  However when I look at Windows 8 I wonder if there will be any room for Fences as the screen seems to be cluttered with other things.

Any input appreciated.

Fences runs on the desktop, not on Metro so should work well.

I, for one, am using Start8 to skip the Metro interface and go straight to the desktop.

I didn't know you could do that.  That is reassuring.

Thanks

Dear Users,

I jumped into the bandwagon with Win 8 Pro and I have exactly the same problem---if I don't right click after re-boot I see no fences on the desktop.

Any ideas?

Is this Fences Pro, or the new Fences Beta?

I'm having the same problem. If I don't right click, I can't see fences. I'm running the Pro version--not a beta...

Fences Pro is not designed for Win8 and may not work as desired.  Fences 2 is designed for Win 8.
