I don't really find frost TB all that effective against tower farms.
Actually i think frost tbs hurt themselves while trying to deal with tower farms. They usually soak up damage going into the center and then soak up some more damage after the nova effect fades. Unless he have friends to help him break through its a waste of time. Speaking of which the rook with farm probably can get MORE friends due to easy access to tower tele

Thats the problem. His tower rook did not do a lot of support. Personally i don't like tower farms because it takes a while to setup however there are many ways to maximize its potential. For instance he could have setup 2 farms and protected both lanes. He could have used his tower offensively. He could have tried to go into melee combat. If you do not have time to create a farm, put all your towers near the flag. At least that way you will FORCE the other team to take the da

I just watched this replay. 3v3 Premade - Very High Level of Play For some reason the rook keeps summoning towers near the NPC towers. Not only did it not hit anyone, it crumbled without seeing any combat at all. Not to mention this guy just posted how strong towering rooks are and, in a pro game, hammer doesn't hit anyone. Not only did he not follow hi

Oh I didn't realize there are so many people interested in our strat. I can answer any questions you guy may have. I may even post the strat if there are enough people interested in it. It will involve a rook though [e digicons]:bebi:[/e] I just want you all to know its beatable. Although we didn't start using eb stun until later. There are 2 teams that I know can beat this under normal circumstances. I know there are other teams that beat us... but trust me it was either not

This was known a long long time ago. This was abused heavily when the sedna heal wind bug was still around. Forunately for most (if not all) teams 8 seconds is more than enough to kill sedna and her entire team unless you lack the DPS necessary to do it. Or you allow the other team to stack hp so high it renders your DPS moot. For example this kind fo healing is able to counter fire TB and reg snipe since they do not have the ability to out damage the heals in time.
The most important thing you should notice is that God Strength isn't that good
Isn't good? I absolutely love it! Not only do I not get to hit anyone with it because I move so slow the damage can also be reduced by armor and I attack slow! I love the fact I can actually count the amount of time I melee another DG in the game. Just in case you are wondering, I got up to 15.
And im sorry posidini but im not a fan of hammer slam till endgame when you have lvl 2 boulder throw, and even then its situational. If your hitting people with hammer slam before boulder throw leval 2 there newb. Or they simply dont care. Period.
Then I guess I will have to be sorry too for pointing out two obvious things to you. 1) Your build has already been discussed and stickied on the strategy guide section. Its
Hammer bash is a fucking terrible skill in a pro game. Its going to be avoided or interupted by any good player. With full god strenth and shoulders you will nearly out dps a hammer bash with your auto attack anyway and its far more reliable. Even if your boulder throw hammer bashing you cant pull that off till endgame. and by then i will nearly out dps your hammer still with auto attack.
Lol apparently i am not pro enough.
u wont see me as the lowest lvl on the game
Thats only because you are getting some DG kills for experience. Once you met better players that won't die and knows your build (since you kindly gave away all your weaknesses) then not only will you not get experience, you won't have any gold to buy any armor. My and Orcun hopes that day will come [e digicons]O:)[/e]
There's no way you can run back to the citadell every minute.
But he does and we identified the play style. I already listed the disadvantage to playing this way. Exp is a lot more important than the little extra dps he is pushing out. But that just me. Also i don't mind him playing this way because all his exp and gold from creeps is now mine.

This is not a thread to bash this change. I would just like to point out that my Rook's escape plan is out of the picture. I spent 1250 gold to get wand very early as an escape plan. However with the 500 gold increase, i would rather be buying cur1 or exp1 before I buy this wand. Gold is extremely percious in the beginning of the game (for citedel upgrades). Wand of speed is also more useful in the beginning when I need to maneuver for exp and flags. Unforunatel

In his defense he does have a very different play style. Wip is correct in saying he do not run out of mana when engaging in direct combat. I played with him and I do notice this. The problem actually lies in his experience rate. Due to his heavy demand on mana, he has to go back to base more often than another ub who regens mana back. Therefore while it is true he has more damage and lane control power than the other ub. He also gives up his ability to stay and fight for long duratio
I think a better idea would be to have a scroll which you can cast onto a tower to restore N health, that way it acts as both this 'halt damage' but also as a way to quickly buff your towers back up to full strength.
That already exsist in-game. Its called a universal gadget.

Wip, why would you say that? The 3v3 I played with you, sedna never came up. In fact you chose DPS DGs. You know as well I do (and the fact we played so many games) there are far much better 3v3 team make up than having sedna in the group.
Even lvl 10 Reg's Mines followed up by lvl 10 Hammer Slam will not kill them when the average minion has about 2.5k health. This is achieved by having moderate minion item staking and is so funny it's sad (I think i've seen them push close or over 3k per night walker; +1800hp is possible). I shouldn't be able to push around an entire team on my own with nothing but minions. Currently this strat is even more broken then Sedna's 2k m

I dislike how the author provided an uninformed strat against a rook. First off the nightcrawlers don't do a lot of dmg in the beginning simply because there isn't enough nightcrawlers. If it starts to hurt the rook its because the rook didn't stack enough health items. Then once the rook hits level 7 hammer the minion build in completely ineffective. A one level 7 hammer kills them all no matter how well you stack minion health. I won't discuss how a level 10 hammer makes thi
