When typing in the search box, only programs and files from Desktop, Documents, Downloads, ... are found. The search function completely ignores the file indexing settings, i.e. after adding the folder where I keep my scripts and utilities (C:\Programs) to be indexed, these are never shown in the search results of Start10. This was not the case with Start8, where the search results included indexed files. The indexing is finished, and I've restarted the computer several times

After trying out Fences I was disappointed to find it couldn't do what I wanted. I wanted all my new icons to appear on the bottom rows of my screen so I could put sidebar gadgets on the left side. But I can't use one big fence on the bottom because icons in the fence will appear in the top row first, instead of the bottom row like I need and also because my gadgets on the left are not all the same sizes so I had to make several fences to utilize all the space. After one

I'm trying out the demo version of Fences with Win7 64. When I disable Fences my screen's brightness/contrast/color increases drastically. If I change resolution or color depth it goes back to normal. Why does it do this? Also, why isn't there a system tray icon for the program and why doesn't it show up in Task Manager? That's strange that there's no indication at all that it's running. I was thinking about uninstalling and reinstalling to see if

Yes I've tried that. It doesn't work. I have been changing the icons or extracting and saving the original icon but it is annoying as it seems to happen half the time when adding shortcuts. Does this happen to anyone else or is it just me? Can you switch to 125% text and test it out?

I can change some of the stuff in Display Properties but not all of them. Taskbar buttons and text and the system tray are smaller and can't be changed. Text in some of the menus are still small. Text in windows are still small etc. I have a program that can extract and save the icons from .exe file. I've been using that workaround to get the default icons back although it's kind of annoying. I'm not constantly adding shortcuts to the docks but I am always usin

Some of the default icons for programs will become very tiny when the display text in Windows 7 is set to 125% (Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display). I changed the text back to 100% and those icons returned to normal. Is there a way to fix this without changing display text to 100%? The text is too small at that setting. Does anyone know if it's possible to set up auto tab switch on mouse over? I have tried an alternative software called sTabLauncher and it has that feature, pretty handy, effortless switching tab. Regards.

Hi, I'd like to contribute a bug report, I'm not sure if this is the place to do it, but here it goes... This has been bugging me for months, but only now did I understand exactly how to reproduce it! I'm running Fences 1.01.143, free version, on a 64-bit Windows Vista SP2. I use a double monitor setup (with all my icons on the main monitor) and - this might be important - my Windows Explorer is configured to open icons with a single-

Ah, that did it. I thought that was just to send WB to the tray. Thanks! There are so many things to check out when starting to use a new app. So confusing. That still leaves the problem of the apps in the tray not being active but as I'm not using the tray I'm not going there.

Should have remembered to do this. Windows XP sp3. Trial version of WB. My system has never done this before. No other apps installed since WB. Downloaded from CNET.com Does it with Dragon by Stardock, Hogworts by HeirofSlytherin. If I switch back to Windows Classic or XP the problem goes away. Once I switch to Dragon it comes back. I am just trying out WindowBlinds and I notice a strange behavior. My minimize button in the upper right hand corner now closes the application. This is very frustrating as I keep closing my apps when I want to minimize them. Is this a feature or is there something I need to tweak? Any help greatly appreciated.
