File search only searches some default folders, ignores indexed folders

When typing in the search box, only programs and files from Desktop, Documents, Downloads, ... are found. The search function completely ignores the file indexing settings, i.e. after adding the folder where I keep my scripts and utilities (C:\Programs) to be indexed, these are never shown in the search results of Start10. This was not the case with Start8, where the search results included indexed files.

The indexing is finished, and I've restarted the computer several times. I am running Start10 1.05.

I've discovered a utility to change several advanced options, Start10tweak.exe, which you'll find in the C:\Program Files\Stardock\Start10 folder. The UI has checkboxes for all sorts of search results to be included in the results. All of these are checked by default so checking-unchecking the corresponding ones does not help in this case. Go to Start10 settings, desktop page, click advanced and tick Search outside standard libraries.

Also Start10 should be updated to 1.08 now, not that it should impact that but it is wise to keep updated.

It is identical to with Start8 so I suspect you used to have that checked on Windows 8.

Thank you very much, that's fixed. Must have missed the Advanced button :/
