I recently reformatted my system from scratch and installed object dock again. But now for some reason the settings that i give the docks won't stick for example i make the docks the option to hide when not in use and uncheck the auto hide feature which should make the docks pop out only when in the desktop. But what is happening is that after a while it changes the settings to autohide it also does it sometimes to the windows taskbar when i unload object dock it also put the windows taskbar

I have seen a few pics here that shows a tabbed dock extending to the left and or right in a straight line in one colum only. So far I have only been able to make a tab dock come up the default way which makes show the docks within it one row but from top to bottom. Can someone let me know how that is done. one tabbed dock that extends out in only one row. Thanks in advance for the help.

I made a shorcut to windows explorer in a docket the first time i use it, it only takes one click to open windows exploere after that i have to click it twice. Does anyone know why it does that. Not really super bad but just a bit annoying lol.

Rocket dock is a great little program. But if im not mistaken one thing it doesn't have which was a big factor in me getting OD was that it can not hide the taskbar. Correct me if im wrong. But I never find that in rocket dock and belvie me i tried:). Plus if you like the free version wait till you see that the other one can do. I love the fact that you can place docks anywere on the desktop that comes in handy for fetures like the clock and wheater dockets. Its more then worth the 20 dollers

I readd in the forums once that this may be due to user permisions. if I remember correctly ther user had to be signed on as administrator for the sys tray icons to show.

There is a fix for the start menu problem I get that 2 when i use the built in feature. But there is a script that fixes that. It was posted somewere in the fourms. I use that and it works without any problems if you use this method. I can send that to you if you wish. All you need is to drag the file to the dock then place any icon you want for it and your good to go. Also try using stardock without the custom skin and see if it does the same thing. Do you have a docket setup to show you the system tray icons. If you have one it should show the system tray icons and the remove the hardware saftely icon on there. That way you should just have to click on that icon and remove the drive. Have you tried that. I made a dock on the bottom right with no icon on it then went to dock contents and enabled the option that says display system tray icons along with my icons. that way it will work just like the windows system tray then another t

Hey there everone I just got my desktop Like i want it. My question is Is there a place in the forums to request dockets or can it be done in here. M y request is Would it be possible to make a docket that whould let you show pictures and have then change. I'm such a goof. I figured it out. shortcut has to be created by dragging folder to tab then picking view folder as menu :).

I could have swore there was a way to clcik on the tab or shortcut and have it come up as a menu, like when you click on the start button all programs and you get the menu on the right. I now how to do it as a flyout but I thought I could do it as a menu view all so. I once saw it on a friends computer and I'm almost positive he was using object dock.
