System Tray Icons won't show up

Hello everybody,

I am about to change the desktop and everything for my girlfriend's laptop, so I got her ObjectDock Plus for her birthday some time ago and am now trying to set it all up...

Until now everything has worked fine... I had the Problem with the not loading start menu first, but was able to fix it...

But now I would like to somehow show the running Tray Icons somewhere but it won't work. I created at new Dock which i positioned on the bottom right and then set in the preferences to show the system tray icons right next to my other icons. But then nothing happened...

I already tried restarting and everything but it won't work. I tried to do it in a Tab, but I couldn't do it there either.

How can i fix that? Would be great if anyone could help me!

Using: Vista 32 Bit Home Premium (German) and 1.90 Plus Build 535u.

Please help me!

greetings,

Josh

I readd in the forums once that this may be due to user permisions. if I remember correctly ther user had to be signed on as administrator for the sys tray icons to show.

Same here.  I found the following link on the web:

https://www.wincustomize.com/articles.aspx?aid=98648&c=1

Which talks about how to make this work.  But it is referencing the old Stardoc Central, so I don't know how old it is.  I will be trying it, and if it works will post a reply to this.

End of linuxgurugamer's quote

I just tried this, didn't work for me.  XP SP3, all updates, OD installed via Impulse.

After perusing the forum, I found that if you uninstall, then reinstall, the system tray will work.

While I recorded all the icons and tabs on my bar, it remembered all of them

The reinstall installed a new version.  What I got today was:  1.90.033, installed using Impulse
