Hello everyone, Another update this month, this time to add a few much-requested features. See the change log below for details. And yet, doesn't karma relate to what you do in life - in a very general way? As such, your karma rating on this board would fluctuate with how you conduct your everyday living. Said a bad word to someone lately? Karma goes down. Had a negative thought lately? Karma goes down. Swat a fly lately
I did some research and it seems to be a bug with TinyMCE (the editor we use in the forums). You can view more information here: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2988235&group_id=103281&atid=635682 Apparently this bug has been fixed in an upcoming release of TinyMCE. [quote who="Jafo" reply="15" id="2591354"] However, implementing a timezone selection would take quite a bit more work. Unfortunately, I don't think it would be worth the time to implement such a feature unless it is heavily requested by the users. Bara....it's been requested [by me] for 9 years. [quote who="Mumblefratz" reply="95" id="2587155"] 1. "Flattened forums" option now available. This appears to be working for me now with one minor exception. It seems that if a thread is "pinned" then it will not appear in the superior forum list. For example this thread on the GalCiv2 site does not appear in the Off-topic forum but the wincustomize thread does even though both are in the Forum Issues forum which is a subforum of the Off-topic forum on the GalCiv2 site. <b
The problem is that the clock format and timezone are hard-coded pretty much everywhere in the forums. Creating an option would mean changing a lot of code, opening things up for errors and missed sections of the site. I'll implement the option eventually, but it won't be until I have some time available to me (and with Elemental around the corner, I wouldn't expect it too soon). Bara
We are having intermittent issues with Wincustomize. Our server admin are looking into it. Bara
Double post! Ok, forum update has been pushed. Change log is as follows: 1. Fixed CSS issues for the new Wincustomize skin that made some posts hard to read due to "invisible" text. 2. Removed right click menu from the editor, now uses the default right click menu for whichever browser you're using. 3. Possibly fixed the "reply doesn't show" bug. Since I was unable to reproduce the bug I need to know if any of you notice it again. Bara
