Thanks for the fast update.

Same, paying customer here and while I can't say I'm surprised that 8.1 broke modernmix I would love if stardock would get on this.
Ashtefere, leaving out the fact that there were two monitors in the set up in the OP no doubt was important information.
It was left out because im not running in multi monitor mode. The laptop display is disabled, as I already stated in my post. You would know this if you read my post. If you don't have anything constructive to say, then shut the hell up. -Ash</p
For me the multi monitor menu is grayed out, and there is an option in the purchase section to "purchase multimonitor support". Not sure what version you are using. Either way, it should work on a fresh install out of the box without issue, especially when it is a virgin install. It does not, thus I'm not going to buy it. -Ash
Ok, I just worked it out. In stardocks efforts to make money they have put in some hooks to make multi monitor support a "feature". In doing so, if you have more than one monitor attached, even if only one monitor is "switched on", then the extra monitor shows no text. In my instance, I have a 14" laptop. Attached is a 24" monitor. The laptop lid is closed. Only the attached 24" display is active, and
As I said, in my post, nothing. Win7 SP1 GPU Driver Tiles Nothing else was installed.
See the default windows background there? That was a fresh install of windows 7 sp1 specifically to test the issue. It went: Windows 7 SP1 GPU Driver Tiles With the above result. -Ash EDIT: GPU is a GT555m/optimus combo.
Any updates on this? -Ash
As you can see, the theme text elements and the config window are either missing fonts or the fonts are too small/big to be seen. -Ash
Yeah same as stbrock. SFC reported no issues, all files are fine. Of note is that the font used by stardock tiles config app and the skin is not actually a windows font - so I can't actually be missing it if it was never installed. This seems to be a custom/third party metro font that is either missing or the wrong size. Perhaps your latest installer has a few regional language bugs or something in it? -Ash
As it says. The running tasks show text, the shortcuts show text, but the skin text and configuration menu text does not appear/show/work. Perhaps there is a missing font? I have only installed the stardock free version, no previous betas. I would really like to use/buy this product, but I cant see any text so... cant config it at all. -Ash
Its ok, I just tried the free version of nexusdock to try solve some of my issues. To be perfectly honest, the free version of nexusdock just annihilates both versions of objectdock that I paid for. Oh well, lets see what the next version of objectdock brings (if we ever see it). -Ash
Well, my bluetooth and rainmeter icons dont show up in my systray dock, if that helps. -Ash
Ok, I found out whats going on. The current impulse installer is sending out objectdock v2 with CORRUPT dock64.exe files - they are borked. Tried on 2 different machines with 2 different installs, and repeated the install on my laptop. All sent out the same corrupt dock64.exe file. SO - as a workaround I copied the dock64.exe file from objectdock 1.9 to the objectdock 2.0 folder and all seems good (except for certain tray ic
So let me get this straight - on objectdock 2.0 you guys get thumbnails for explorer windows in the dock? -Ash
Ok, I have an observation. When running objectdock 1.9 on 7x64, it says "no, you cant use the system tray". Ok, fine. So I boot up my objectdock 2.0 preview. That HAS the systemtray, but no thumbnails for explorer windows. So thats a dealbreaker too. So, I think to myself, screw it. I prefer app thumbnails so I close objectdock 2.0 and reopen objectdock 1.9 and LO AND BEHOLD THE SYSTRAY IS RUNNING JUST
