Unless its the firewall built into my router im pretty sure the problem is not firewall related, as i said before i tried activating it a number of times when i had no firewall or internet security package installed. The impression im getting from the software is that it beleives the serial number has been used and therefore deactivated it. If this is true, will I be supplied with another one so that i can activate it on my main PC? Im really not too fussed abo

Well i tried activating it after i uninstalled AVG 7, but before installing AVG 8 and had no luck. I'm at work at the moment so i can't check the EULA.txt right now. Thanks for the responses.

I've sent the email to activate@stardock.com with the info required over 4 days ago now and haven't heard anything back. How long does it usually take? can i not just have another serial as the one given to me does not work properly? I was able to activate it without any problems on my secondary PC on XP (bought it about a month ago now) but my main PC with Vista it still will not activate, not even when I uninstalled AVG 7 to install AVG 8. I've read through the FAQ and terms and condit
