all drivers are up to date,video and sound cards,and Ive got 4 gig of ram too,and my new vid card but still no joy. Ive used RegCure and reg rescue to clean up anty registry probs,I regularly defragment too.. If I need to reinstall windows does that mean overwrite of everything or is that only to format.Has all else failed??

HELP!! I did have a problem before the update but change suggested to ini file helped but then old game stuck too. I have upgraded video card 3870 and all game updates via impulse . I press run,opening titles and video runs,it gets to the opening screen and in no time at all ..... FREEZE,and crackle,and I have to reboot the PC smart exception no use as I have checked and there is no log.I can post dxdiag or do i contact support. Its a great game
