Hi all. I have been searching the forum for the function of armor. And I have been readint that armor effectively increases "max hull" with 5 % per armorpoint according to this formula: Effective hull=Hull*(1+0,05*AP), where AP is armor point. Now the same threads also states that it is better to invest in armor than in hull since the former also affects Hull regeneration. I was just wondering. Is hull regen a function of armor. When I look at the entity-files for different sh
To what sort of clues are you giving us here Blair? Is this some sort of clue that we need to dissect that involves Vasari women and a cube? hmm.... so many clues, we need to start digging.
I think cube might be referring to a dice... I think the Vasari are running from a galactic gambling debt... :)
Hello all! When I have been reading on the forum I get the feeling that alot of people want to know whats hunting the Vasari or even would like the "hunters"'to get introduced in a expansion or sequel. I mostly agreed that I want to know whats hunting them, but now that i have beem giving it some thoughts Im not so sure anymore. Not knowing whats hunting them adds to the game a sense of mystery. I was just wondering how many of you out there who wants too know and how many dont. and if you
I just bought the game and played for a few hours. I must say: Wow!! I was really hesitating to whether I should by the game or not (had bought elemental:war of magic which was a real disapointment) but I thought I would give the series a second chance. And Im so glad I did. At looks really, really promising. To early to rank it, but if it continues to evolve, then its definately worth a score above 8. sincerely
You can only build 1 titan. Titans are the only real counter to large numbers of combat frigates. if yous ay they can only counter a comparable cost of frigates, suddenly the 1 titan limit means that your example of 120k woth of LRF have no counter- after all their designated counter can't be mass produced beyond the initial unit.
Hello everyone! The title says it all really... how do I kill Eradica using TEC Rebel? I tried using max cap ship with support fleet(cielo, repair bot, anti air, some carriers) but I am not able to dent that stupid advent titan. When he jumped into my space, it was level 2 and by the time he is done killing my fleet it was level 6-7 ish. I fought in front of over 10 repair platform with star base, few hanger and mines. This advent titan is killing my fleet single

Ok So I just bought rebellion to complete a game I already love. I did have my worries about titans being a game-breaker since all it would come down to is to get a Titan as quick as possible and it being extremely powerfull. Well I have to say that they in fact ARE way to powerfull. I played a couple of games now and in the last game for example I put my entire fleet (2000 fleet supply including the ankylon (lvl 8)) titan to fire at the Eradica Titan (level 10) of my opponent. I didn

The more time they spend moving and decidin
I would like to see more fleet tactics options. Perhaps a way of grouping my fleet into one position (say capital ships int the fron, LRF behind them and support ships further behind them). As it is now, there is only engagement range and fleet cohesion to joggle with. Not much I think. And perhaps a way of telling priorities to ships, like tell my Hoshikos to priorize healing my cap ships instead of LRF. sincerely
I totaly agree with the above statements and would like too take it one step further. I think that alot of the information on the infocards is to sparse. The damge for instance. I definately think that it should bee specified what weapons is on what side of the ships and how much damage they do. The EXACT damage, not just the DPS (which i think is what is stated at this moment). The DPS and cooldown time can be written in a paranthesis or something. I realize that this will make the infocards
Hi all Well, as the title suggests, which is the best? As I have been reading these forums I get the impression that people are just loving the guardians, saying that an advent fleet can stay alive forever with their aid. But I really disagree. The guardians just reduce the damage by 33%. The ships they are protecting still receives 67 % of the damage and slowly but definately are destroyd. Perhaps their destruction is delayed for some time, but not that much in my opin

Well the title is pretty self-explainatory. When you set the engagement range to local area, what does that mean in practice?
Hi youall Allthough I´ve read that the optimum number of farms and morale buildings has been discussed in a number of threads I cant seem to find any of them. Anyway. i figured the following. If you consider a planet with a fixed taxrate then the only way of increasing the economic output (EO) of that planet is by either increasing the population OR increasing the economic bonus (i.e. building stockmarkets). Now since the economic output inc
Hi I have read a few posts aboit the placement of the economic capital. Many people seems to chose a High quality planet where they could put alot of stock markets along with the economic capital. But I figured that the economic capital does not at all effect the other existing economic instllements such as stock markets. It only givs a bonus of 50 % more tax. So to get the most effect it should be placed on the planet with the highest population, right? I also

Hello everyone I trying to get the acheivement of beating 4 hard AI. However this has proved to be pretty difficult sinc the AI seems to always allie themselves against me. Not to mention, just the 30 seconds of being out of the game is providing an advantage to the other team. Anyone who fights 1v3 and defends their actions deserves to be called a retard, case closed.
