When someone gets disconnected the user experience is very poor and unfortunately, disconnects are not unheard of (nature of the internet). 1) When someone stops responding it takes quite a while before the disocnnect dialog comes up. OK, thanks. I'm glad it doesn't mean I'm sucking that badly. :D I still usually win against Nightmare AI, but it's tough and I was worried I was doing something wrong in terms of leveling.

Sorry, I meant so at least we could identify who the lagger is. In the game I was in the person who ended up being the lagger (once they left the game sped up tramendously) had a Sim Speed of 10 the entire time (higher than the rest of us). Is this a bug with Sim Speed or am I misunderstanding how that works?

Yeah, that's what I do now (browse the web while dead on another monitor) but I would much rather have the opportunity to do something in-game. For people without multiple monitors alt-tabbing isn't necessarily the best option either since you may miss getting back into the game in time.

I don't know if your chat system is in lockstep with the rest of the game or if it's out of band but if not then it would be nice if chat still worked while the "Eject Player" screen is up.

I thought that was what the Sim Speed was for? To let others know if you are lagging the game due to a low frame rate (while ping represents network latency). If that is not the case, what is Sim Speed for?

I think you covered it. It's usually just him shooting and running, forcing me to constantly always have to go back for health. Anytime I approach he runs, anytime I run he chasing. So I either sit by my towers or run back and foreth to crystal for health.

The death effect is cool, but as it stands now I might as well minimize the game while I'm dead. I can't look at my abilities, I can't look at what items are available, I can't look at enemy health while I'm dead (or allies). You can just go destroy their citadel while Erebus is in mist form. :P And when he comes out there is a cooldown on it (about 7 seconds I think) which is enough time to kill him if you play your cards and silence at the right times since he is an otherwise weak character. Me and another newbie were doing 2v1 against someone who isn't as bad. The game resulted in a near stalemate with him trapped in his base and us slowly bringing in gold to upgrade gear to kill him with. I experience a similar bug with Erebus (or however you spell his name). Bat swarm to the target then immediately bite. The bite won't go off, even if in range, until you move a little bit.

Forces of Light / Darkness in Demigod Demigod Forums

When I first hopped on I chose Forces of Darkness for Pantheon games. Is there a way to give Forces of Light a try now or am I stuck as Darkness? There may be something totally stupid that I'm missing but at the screen where you choose your Demigod I have Forces of Darkness lit up and Forces of Light is dimmed. I also don't like unlockables in competative play. It's why I quit TF2 untill a 3rd party hack came out to auto-unlock the new gear. Yes, I could join one of those stupid achievement farming servers and run it for 2-3 hours but that's not fun and I play games for fun. I finally figured out how to reproduce this one with Unclean Beast and how to workaround it. 1) Right-click another demi-god at a distance to move to and attack it. 2) While attacking, cast Ooze, which is instant cast (no bar) but will stop your character from moving. 2.5) At this point I usually cast his seld damage buff spell, which does have a casting time. I'm unsure if this is required to reproduce. 3) Have opposing Demigod run away from you. <p
