Your statement......
Not true. Not even close. I would say 8 is less secure since most newbies to 8 have no idea how to install a decent AV program. I would say it goes by a case to case basis. Saying what you said is just plain arrogant.
Installing an AV program goes to 'babysitting the user' and not so much to whether or not the core OS is or isn't more secure. That's where you should do some reading as the ne

Yeah Banff and Lake Louise are just about the most commercialised 'nature' venues in Canada. You couldn't pay me to go spend time there 'in nature'. I prefer the more 'off the beaten track' holidays here. Hell if you have to go the 'resort' way even the older tourist towns like Radium Hot Springs have more 'off-the-beaten-track' nature just a few miles walk/drive away.

While the Nokia Lumia 2520 isn't a 'phone' I thought some of you might be interested in a review of Nokia's first tablet device: http://www.wpcentral.com/lumia-2520-review
One of my favourite apps right from the start was PHOTOBEAMER (which allowed you to stream your photo libraries on your phone to any internet-enabled display). Nokia has released PLAY TO now which goes a step further and allows for streaming of all audio/video content from your phone to any DLNA device in the home. Two of my favourite windows-phone (albeit Nokia-exclusive) apps for sure.
I can't do it......I have the following thoughts on BF4......(quoted from the other BF4 thread):
I was a fan of the Battlefield series for many years. Played BF since Battlefield 1942 (still my favourite in the entire series!), but I think 'battlefield' has run it's course for me. I won't be picking this one up. Too much of the same same same...... You guys are all wrong. Canada is the greatest place on earth to live. We have beavers, polar bears and well.......bacon! Oh and if you happen to be in politics you can be a crack-addict and still run a city! Does it get any better? [e digicons]O:)[/e]
wait what? FPS with a 'controller'...........blasphemy! [e digicons]O:)[/e]
'handle' guys? really? What are we using CB/shortwave radios here? [e digicons]O:)[/e]
Thanks for posting this ID.........smartglass is awesome. :)
I saw a tutorial somewhere on the internet (I think it may have been at wpcentral.com ) where you can DIY 'hack' the 1520 for WiFi charging without using/buying the cover. I agree though the fact that it's built-into the 920 is great.
Count me in. Since I use my current 'phone' (also a Lumia 920) to send email, read docs and do other things easily as much if not more than simply using the device to make/receive calls the bigger size etc. can only be a good thing. [e digicons]O:)[/e]
psychoak, Without dragging this even further off topic than it already seems to be, you do come across as pretty arrogant in your forum posts (not saying that others don't.....hell even I do at times ;) ) So it shouldn't come as a surprise that people get their hackles up sometimes. Thing is, if you choose the arrogant route in your interactions with people you are going to rub them the wrong way, that's just fact. As my fat

Hitman Pro software is awesome. Been using for years (since at one time it was about the only tool to effectively and quickly correct certain browser hijacks etc.). The one problematic issue I've found with Hitman (the regular version) over the years I've been using it is that because it uses cloud scanning on some infected systems Hitman can't 'connect to the internet' and so then can't s
