Seriously, anyone who considers themselves even remotely a 'fan' of Southpark should get this game.........imo
grilled king crab barley black-pepper risotto with zucchini (the barley stands up to longer cooking-times better than arborio rice) shredded, seasoned and sauteed kohlrabi (when in season) or chopped romaine lettuce with peppers, english cukes, tomato, and feta or grilled whole steelhead trout tomato and basil risotto (for this one I use arborio rice) homemade garden salsa on slices of sourdough bread with a t
Fantastic! Of course I'm a huge Southpark fan so......

Installing Linux has what exactly to do with the thread op? Just wondering if I'm 'lurking' in the wrong thread........or maybe every thread on these forums is just a 'chat' now...... [e digicons]O:)[/e]
'The desktop PC' may not be dying as such, but it has certainly outlived its usefulness to me . I used to build my own rigs every year or so in order to keep up with current hardware trends etc. Then more and more I came to the realisation that (especially when you have a solid networking infrastructure) with a few DLNA boxes (WDTV Live SMP for instance plays anything and everything with no need to con
I've posted several times now about a Nokia exclusive app called 'Photobeamer' (see my first post in this thread), but recently there is yet another Nokia exclusive app I've been finding invaluable. Nokia Beamer This app shares your phone screen (Nokia phone) via Nokia's servers to/with any internet-enabled screen locally or remotely (for remote sharing you send people the link via SMS or email etc.).
Interesting.........weird but interesting. Guess kona just might be interested in a new Nokia phone now eh? hehe [e digicons]O:)[/e]
Here's what I did to migrate the boot partition and all pertinent data from the 1TB drive my notebook shipped with, to the SSD I already had. 1. I upgraded to the newest Easeus ToDo Workstation software. 2. I created a bootable CD with the ToDo software on it. 3. Having both the 1TB regular drive and the SSD connected I booted to the ToDo backup CD. 4. Selected the boot partition on the 1TB and cloned it to the then em
@ RND For the record the latest versions of Easeus ToDo Backup have no trouble with GPT partitions. Last fall (Sept 2013) I purchased a new Toshiba notebook (Windows 8) and wanted to image the 1TB normal drive to an SSD I already had to make the SSD the boot drive and keep the 1TB regular drive for data etc. Initially just like you I ran into some issues using an older (outdated) version of Easeus ToDo. I contacted Easeus, upgraded to the newer version o
Hell yes. I can't count how many users I know (or know of) who treat their own data with much less regard than for instance MS via Skydrive (Onedrive). Play 'devils advocate' all you want.........one day soon it'll be yet another kona-contradiction eh? hehe [e digicons]O:)[/e]

haha wizard..........same here (-50 Celsius with wind chill) and I'm beginning to think my investment in a 'cooling pad' for my notebook was just a cruel joke...... [e digicons]O:)[/e]
Most days I consider my phone-use to be 'moderate-to-heavy' for lots of email/texts including attachments etc, browsing and other app-use such as MS Office etc. as well as the odd phone call or two. I do not play games or stream much video and don't often take pictures. The 920 easily gets me through the entire day + evening without needing to be charged. Of course what I consider 'moderate-to-heavy' others may consider differentl

Wargame:EE was one of my favourite RTS games of all time! I just couldn't get into Wargame:ALB though, they changed too many things that I really loved about the first one........guess that's how it goes though eh? For one person a sequel is an improvement for another it's not. [e digicons]X([/e]
Ace.....you are not entirely correct........ I just recently had to replace an aging notebook and since there really are two choices in the notebook segment (ultrabook = for mobility or desktop replacement/gamer = for performance) I opted for the 'desktop replacement/gamer' notebook. I have to say. This new notebook of mine kicks some serious desktop ass........and then not even breaking much of a sweat (heat etc.)
Simcity Max Payne 3 War Thunder and while not a PC game.......my favourite game for 2013 has to be GTA V. Seriously Rockstar have outdone themselves once again. ;)
I find it very odd that Microsoft's odd numbered OS's are the ones that really perform well.
That's just it. Windows 8 performs better than any previous MS OS iteration to date. People of course can find patterns wherever they choose to look but that 'pattern' concerning even/odd numbered MS OS's has been most decidedly 'broken' with Windows
As I have stated more than a few times on these forums, windows 8 has quite a few 'under the hood' improvements over all other previous MS OS iterations. Some of which may be useful/interesting to others some not. Certainly it is indisputable however that (as RND has already pointed out in this thread) Windows 8 handles resources better than any MS OS before and that in itself should be seen as a big 'plus'. That old 2005 notebook

Let me refresh your memory.
Not true. Not even close. I would say 8 is less secure since most newbies to 8 have no idea how to install a decent
