Is there any other way to download and apply the latest update to Twilight of The Arnor other than having to use Impulse? If not, isn't the whole "Bill of Gamers" thing a tad hypocritical? 4. Gamers shall have the right to demand that download managers and updaters not force themselves to run or be forced to load in order to play a game. Ok, so it says "play" a game, not "update". So far so good. I can't believe I didn't think of cleaning out my cookies myself hehe. It was just too obvious. I was already worrying about my router screwing up ports and such and such. Occam's Razor and all that. ;p

I just got a reply to my email from Travis and it turned out to be something so simple I would never have thought of it. I simply cleared out all my cookies and, presto, SDC works properly again. Go figure hehe. I should mention that deleting the cookies in my default browser (firefox) probably wouldn't have done much good since SDC appears to use the IE engine to render pages. I tried to find some threads about it but failed miserably hehe. I'll look again, though. =) I'm running version 2.52.516 build 165 on Windows Vista Ultimate 64. The latest failed download is "Artifice WB". It's not a huge deal, really, since it works from the websites - but...you know. =P Edit: Found a couple of other threads but there was no real solution in either of them. Hey folks I've been having some problems with my Stardock Central lately. For some reason I can't download any GUI's or other files through it any more. I can download just fine directly from the various sites - but in Stardock Central I just get "download failed". I am logged in - at least that's what the software reports - and I've tried a gazillion different files. I've tried "Download to Folder", "Download and Apply" and so on. But no go. Yeah, I noticed that too. Very handy. I think I should start work a bit more with the whole "preset" thing, though. For my own good hehe. I'm one of those whos last words is going to be along the lines of "oo, wonder what this button does".

Hello folks. I'm trying to figure out how I can remove (or at least make it a little more opaque) the transparency in contextual menus (ex. right click desktop) and file menus (ex. Edit menu in Notepad) to make the menus a little more readable. I love the theme I'm using but that detail is causing some headache. Is there any way this setting can be altered?
