I had saved my game, exited SINS, and shut down my system. I turned the system back on, fired up SDC and launched SINS. And then nothing happened, well, nothing useful anyway. Video switched modes, and then it just sat there. I hit the windows key, right clicked on the task bar, opened up Task Manager and killed SINS. I did this twice. On the third try I hiat Ctrl-Alt-Del and opened Task Manager from there. When I did that, I had a window which said: Brush

1. If you leave your game accidentally running overnight, be prepared to have been soundly abused in your absence. Nice thing about this though, is if you aren't completely destroyed you have the potential to have a large reserve when you discover that you've been an idiot. 2. When it comes to fleet size, when does the term 'too big' come in to play? Example: <img src="http:/

There is an issue with Cultural Victory. I got the notice that in 12 months I would win a CV. Before that 12 turns was up I saved. When I re-loaded later, I was still 12 months away. I have saved with 1 turn left until CV, then loaded, without exiting, and I had 12 turns left.

I'm not sure if anyone has reported this or not yet, but I just had something wierd happen. I had just built a colony ship and clicked on it, in preparation to launch it. I then clicked on a planet in the system that was not colonized. That planet was then colonized with a 0 population. It tooke me a moment to realize what had happened. In order to make sure I hadn't lost my mind, I tried it again. I now have two planets with 0 populations. In addition to that just

I have noticed that sometimes at the end of the turn when I click on ships that have been missed by the 'find the next ship' code I cannot move them by right clicking. No matter where I click the ship goes on autopilot. But, if I use the keypad to move them, they will move fine. Someone 'splain that one to me.

1) it hates me. :) 3) they seemed to be somewhat grouped by what they did which was nice. 5) When you're in mid-game, slide the marker in one direction, one notch at a time, and watch the numbers. When you slide it back the other direction the pattern of numbers is not the same. If your tax rate is at 30%, and you're generating 1200 bc, when you move it up to 35% you'll make 1500, when you slide it back to 30%, you may be at 1250 or 1150. It's kinda strange to watch. I

1) Playing in a gigantic galaxy, with one opponent, ships on autopilot still get hung and do not move. As a side observation relating to this, before I ended the game the only ship that I had that was not in orbit was my survey ship. When I would set my SS to move on autopilot it would not move at all on the turn that I had set autopilot, but the second and subsequent it would. 2) Govenors project list still does not allow you to scroll if you have more than 19 items in the list.

As far as #4 goes, you can acutally move the ship. Just click on an area that is inside your range for that ship and it will move there. My Survey Ship found a defender once. I was obviously inside the range for my SS, but well outside the range for the Defender. I did manage to move it back inside my valid range.

In the diplomacy screen where you trade your influence and sign your treaties, should it be possible to trade technologies that you have for ALL of one of the AI's planets? Actually I should state why did the AI let me trade him out of existance?

If the concept behind the Research Anomoly (RA) is that it's old tech left behind by some ancient race, shouldn't the results of exploring a RA be random? Meaning, if it's just stuff floating around the galaxy what are the odds that it just happens to be what you are currently researching? If it was a random technology that you don't have, and not too much more advanced than where you are now (i.e. no more that two techs removed from what's available to research now) wouldn't it be m
