Use BOTH bigger image size and smaller text size. Change text to a narrow font like Arial Narrow. Use the "Icon Size" slider on the "Size & Appearance" pageto adjust image size. The label font is adjusted/changed on the "General" page under "Miscellaneous Options". My system does not have an "Arial Narrow" font installed on it.
