It was an actual stand alone widget -- the one I am having a problem with is "Vista Weather" which was kind of a clone of the vista sidebar gadget that runs on XP. I think that although it is a widget it's not totally stand alone -- it does require DesktopX be installed. Thanks on all the replies. I'll check into the suggestion Bichur mentioned tonight when I get back home and see if I can pull it out of the twilight ;) I'll let you know if that did the trick! Again thanks.

I had put a desktopX gadget on screen near the edge of my desktop and had it run on windows startup. A few days ago I noticed it wasn't on screen after a reboot. But I couldn't "start it back up" again -- if I clicked on it, hourglass woudl spin and then nothing. I checked the task manager and see that it is running but I can't get it to display. I suspect it is somwhere "off screen" but don't know how to reset it coordinates. What's the best way to fix that situation? I looked
