We definitely need a minesweeper ship.
I counted each planet as its own solar system with its own star and I considered the central star just to be the center of the system
That is how I imagine it when I play this game...the way it is seems odd to me.
Ohio - how many refineries do you have
I place enough so just about every asteroid gets its maximum 3 refineries. on average 1 per planet, but that can vary.
I don't know what the age rating is on this game, maybe they did that so children could buy it.
Your loyal citizens are dying sova carrier has empargo and steels your money.
Currently your forced to focus fire, so seems this would help that problem. But I could see it being frustrating.
In my current game I'm playing, orbital refineries are giving me 3.2 metal and crystal per second, thats after my 68% fleet upkeep. They are more than useful especially medimum and large maps vs AI. About phase lanes, it might be nice to have the option not to use them, but I could just see the frustration if one of your planets were under attack and your fleet was stuck between 2 planets. As a matter of fact, that was a bug in one of the betas. Fleets would travel without using phas
The average of the review factors is 7.25 What?
Sorry I didn't know this had turned into a technical thread, i was speaking about the OP post.
not a "fast game"
I guess any 4X game (i'm not saying this one is) is doomed. Get a negative here, game takes too long. Get a bad review somewhere else there are not enough empire building options. I guess sometimes you just can't win.
I'm just not going to go to work and save that gas money for games.
I think 84 is a very good starting point. One of my previous empolyers once told me, for my very first employee review, they could not give me a great score because I could only go down from there....This is a good start.
The average of the review factors is 7.25 !?
I don't think stardock is afraid of a little competition.
There was a Influence aspect to RON, i remember my structures falling down as enemy influence took over my buildings. 4X is a very gray area...per wikipedia.
I would like them to stay docked until flak is taken care of...Its a manual thing but I don't like manual things. It would be cool as the last flat frig is blowing up, your wave of bombers or fighters automatically launches :D
Yay Ironclad, they know what gaming is all aboot.
Only the unfair setting gives a bonus to the AI. (resource bonus)
They slow down your colonizing a little bit to prevent colony rush.
By the way, trashing SINS on the SINS FORUM is not going get you very far. How about some suggestions Chris? Don't be a "T"
Yes as said above, on reload the settings are lost. You just have to go into the game optons screen, just hit accept as all the setting should show right, and hit play.
I always get the colonizer. Some people say they want a more powerful ship, but there is barely a difference. Funny story, my last game I got the colonizer and was watching TV so i wasn't paying attention, and for the free upgrade i selected the targeting link. So I had the colonizer cap without the colonizing option. I guess you had to be there.
this happens to me all the time when i forget to go back and turn them all off after i research the tech. It is frustrating.
It gets real fun when your empire gets large and your enemys is not...and they can have the same fleet size you can. You have to split your fleets up. I play the AI and usually have 2 fleets. One for defense and one for offense.
